Dominique the Cyclops         This page has the info. and pictures of the Dominique the Cyclops Costume Costume:  Dominique Series:  Trigun Worn by:  SU-chan Created by:  People at the various manufacturers with items in the stores the parts were purchased from.  Vest done by SU-chan no okaasan (SU has no clue how to make a vest O.o).  Eyepatch was constructed by Kuroi-neko.  The gun was hastily made by SU after school a couple days before the con. Appearances:  Fanime Con' 2001 Items needed to Refine: A long tan coat, grey hat with a black strip, eyepatch, purple vest, white dress-shirt.  black shoes, black jeans, black pistol with a brown handle. The perks:  -Pockets!!                     -Purple contacts (no more nearsighted-ness)                     -comes with a hat                     -you can find most of the parts in the stores                     -I have a gun and I know how to bean you with it! (::ahems:: Ne0 Nek0) The SCARY:  -Blindspot (huh?  What perso--)                     -Most people haven't seen that far into the series                     -It's HOT in that coat...                     -Mistaken for some other character on another series by No-Name Anime ~.~ Problems:  The costume didn't exactly come out too great.  The gun was far from being correct and the eyepatch kept falling out of my hair (I was using bobby pins).  Also I didn't exactly see that far into the series either. Costume Memory Quotes - Self:  "Hey can you fix this for me?  It's loose again (the eyepatch)." "Ok wait... come here...  ::WHACKS with the gun::" "Ah shoot.  I don't have my gun -.-" Costume Memory Quotes - Others: "So who exactly are you supposed to be?"  (::falls over::  Oh god...  SPASP (Some people are SO pathetic....) ....... Current Status:  More or less active.  Everything's stored away somewhere in different parts of the house.  To call: (Not if I can help it!!)  Dominique DIED.  Gonna have to resurrect her first. Costume Background: @.@ Ugh...  first we started out doing X 1999.  Then there was some mind changes and we switched to Magic Knight Rayearth (I actually bought the shinny material for my armor).  Then after some discussion someone really wanted to do Trigun.  Well, I didn't exactly know for sure how to get that armor done (had an idea but ideas don't always work 100% of the time...), so I was semi-supportive/neutral and said we could probably switch if they really wanted to and do MKR next year.  And so it all started...  Pretty much I was running around a few weeks before fanime to go buy all my stuff from the store (you know since it took a long while to figure out who I would be doing... well partly.).  Unfortunately a purple vest and black toy pistol were no where to be found (baka Columbine incident.  It's the kid's fault for being a demented psychotic ningen in the first place.  Don't go finger pointing at every other little thing just cause you don't want to accept the truth... Especially not my anime and video games.).   It was already decided Kuroi help out with the eyepatch.  Come the last week before Fanime, supplies were found to craft the vest and I dug around for an old toy gun that was probably lying around. Well the vest came out alright but the gun was pathetic.  Little mini-machine gun with construction paper, tape, white-out, and marker.  @.@  Well from far away, who cares...?  -.-  Only the people who walked up to take my picture, I think. Well guess no one really noticed too much. Comments: ^^;;; Well I guess it was all right...  Nothing too horrible happened except for a lot of "Who exactly are you supposed to be"'s  -.-*;;;;  Argh......  Oh well.  Only real complaint is that i was frying every time I went to stand in line for the dealer's room.  It's HOT outside and HOTTER in a *coat.*  @.@  Ah, where's Touya (YYH) when you need him?! *************************************** First picture is generously provided by Fansview.  The second one.... @.@ I have no idea where that came from.  ^^;;; Ok I know I didn't look *too* great in RL.... but those pictures ar worse.  Especially the first one -.-;;; Oh well.  Maybe I just can't have good pics taken of me.
