All About ARC...

Konnichi wa!  Here you can find out everything you wanna know about ARC.... and if you don't find something out that you wanna know you could always contact us and ask.  ^^

So what exactly IS ARC?
ARC (short for Anime Realm Cosplay) is a cosplay group.  Cosplay is short for costume play as in dressing up as characters from anime, video games, and other things along that line.  Basically we're just a buncha psycho anime fans dressing up as our favorite characters and being organized about it, heh heh heh. ^--v^

How was ARC formed?
[Tamahome]  It was on a dark and stormy night...  [Q&A answerer]  Hey wait a sec that's not right... ARC was originally an anime club called the "AF^2" or "Anime Fans Forever" (which use to be called "TAF" or "True/Total/Twisted/The/etc. Anime Fans" until it was discontinued and restarted).  Fanime '01 was our first organized skit (we did do one at Fanime 2K, but that was really chaotic and everything was done on the day before the masquerade), however ARC didn't really have a name so we just had to use the club name.  Unfortunately not everyone was actually *in* the club (more than half, to tell the truth, because of all the stage ninjas) so it was really awkward to be using that name  (not to mention it just seemed sort of wrong  ^^;;).  After the con' some people were asking if we had a page like many other cosplay groups did.  Well, the AF^2 has a page, but the cosplay stuff wouldn't fit in there (mostly cuz of the stage ninja thing).  So SU decided to make one.  However, we needed a name...  After some discussions it was decided that we'd use the name "Anime Realm Cosplay" and so it all started...

What's a masquerade?
A little night-time "show" at conventions were participants perform a skit or walk-on on stage to entertain the audience and compete for prizes.  ^^  More or less anyway.  If you really wanna know what a true masquerade is as far as anime conventions go, attend one and find out.  It's very fun. ^^

Can I join ARC?
That's really up to what everyone in ARC thinks.  It's pretty important that we get to know you first (no we won't skewer you in an interview) otherwise it's hard to work together.  It also might be a good idea to work with us on something after that so we can see how things go.  After that.... if you're still interested, we can talk.  ^.-

::Phuuu::  Well that's all the basic stuff I can come up with for the moment. Feel free to e-mail any other questions you may have to SU-chan.
