Blood: The Last Vampire Content
In a way, I like Blood a lot, but it falls a little short. First of all, they barely describe the story. Basically, this girl has to go around killing the last remaining Vampires. But they don't tell us why or how the vampires ever got there. The only way to kill them, is to make them lose enough blood in one blow, this means gunshots won't kill them. Sure, they hurt them, but they won't die. Thats were Saya comes in, she uses her sword and chops them up. So you can image what it looks like when she kills one of them, blood flying all over the place. Also the movie is only 40 minutes long, so it seems like it's over before you know it. [7.2]Animation
The animation in Blood is nothing but amazing. Although the whole movie is CG (well the surrounding anyways, the characters are still animated looking, because they aren't 3D). The CG looks really good, and makes the environment look almost real. And the vampires actually look scary (they dont really look like vampires though). The animation rocks too, but I wouldn't expect anything less from a CG movie thats only 40 minutes long.[9.8]Music
The music is pretty good and fits the dark theme. [8.0]Extras
45 minutes of "The making of Blood." [7.0]Comments
A pretty good movie, that has quite a bit of action, but is too short and doesn't explain much. It still deserves to be watched though. Good thing there is a sequel coming! Overall: [8.1] |
