Krillin first comes along in Dragonball where he trains with Goku under Master Roshi to learn martial arts. In the beginning, Krillin and Goku were the worst of rivals, and Krillin didn't hesitate to cheat when it came to overcoming Goku in one thing or another. Krillin was tricky and snide, and always knew what to do to bribe Master Roshi. However, despite this first impression, Goku and Krillin become the best of friends, and still are up to date. Krillin would do anything he had to if it came to saving Goku and his friends, and the feeling is mutual. As youngsters, Goku and Krillin were the youngest people ever to make it into the semi-finals and finals of the World Martials Arts Tournament. However, they were both defeated by Jackie Chun, Roshi in disguise. Krillin was first killed in the Red Ribbon Saga by Tambourine, one of the henchmen of Evil Piccolo, but is revived in the final saga of Dragonball. Krillin is then killed again in the Freeza saga, but revived with the Dragonballs once again, and he is transported back to the earth. Eventually, Krillin marries Number Eighteen after the Cell saga and has a daughter named Marron. Once again, Krillin dies in the Evil Shenlong saga of GT, but is revived for the last time.
