“Holy carrots! Run!” Tym cried. The three quickly took to the air, flying as fast and far as they can, knowing that an extremely large explosion was going to take place. They had gone quite far, but the force of the blast still sent them flying helplessly farther.
After a moment, Nishi looked up over her shoulder. The moon was visible once again, shining brightly in the night sky. She rolled over and sat up, looking around. She could see smoke rising from where the castle was, or had been. Kibito and Tym did the same, amazed at the sight before them.
“Where’s Kaioshin?!” Nishi asked in a bit of a panic.
“I’m right here.” Nishi looked up to see Kaioshin coming down. He held his arm with the other hand, and limped a few steps forward.
“Kaioshin!” Nishi ran over and jumped onto him, wrapping her body around him.
Kaioshin laughed. “Nishi, calm down. I’m fine, unless you don’t get off me.” She did so and helped him over to the other two.
“Good work,” Kibito commented. “You did it.”
“Yes, and I’m gosh darn exhausted because of it,” Kaioshin said with a chuckle.
“And you’ve become the most powerful of all,” Tym said.
Kaioshin looked at him. “What do you mean? I really have no idea where that all came from. I’ve never done anything like that in my life, Master Tym.”
“No, you wouldn’t have.” He scratched his nose and brushed off the dust from his sleeves. “You have become what is known as the Supreme Kai. You’re the most powerful ruler that has ever lived on this planet. Whether you’re the most powerful in the universe is only known to the heavens.”
Kaioshin couldn’t believe it. He, who hadn’t given a care in the world five years ago, was now the Supreme Kai. Who’d a thought?
