<-- Back Xiaolang Li English Name: Li Showran Birthday: July 13th Xiaolang is, in my opinion, one of the best characters in the show. His name is often spelled "Syaoran" because it's more phonetic (the Chinese Xs and Ls and whatnot are really hard to read). Syaoran transfered to Sakura's school from Hong Kong sometime in the middle of the year. All through the first part of the season, he appeared to hate her, with the rivalry for the Clow Cards and all. Relationships: Syaoran is a bit of a loner, but he does have a few friends. Yamazaki-kun is one of the only ones they really talk about in the series. Syaoran also appears to have a crush on Yuki (they never show this in the dub, of course), but that doesn't last long, and it's described later as a result of his magic. Syaoran faces off against Yue in the Final Judgement and loses. Poor Li-kun! He tried so hard. In the end, Sakura becomes the new mistress and Syaoran feels left out *gives him a hug*. Anyway, by the end of the series, Syaoran decides that he likes Sakura. It's all very cute, especially when Eriol comes. Oooo, does Syaoran HATE him. One of the reasons is because Sakura calls him "Eriol-kun" the first day she meets him, while it took her months to call Syaoran "Syaoran-kun" (in Japan, boys are usually refered to by their last names, except among good friends).
