At home he wears these brown slippers, too. Description: Taichi is the leader & Goggle Boy of the Chosen Children. The problem is he doesn't think before he does things so he's always leading the other kids straight into trouble. He has extremely big hair that he keeps up with his goggles. He loves his family very much. He is very protective of his little sister Hikari, who is the eigth Chosen Child. He is extremely brave. As time goes on, he learns not to be so reckless & it makes him a great leader. He & his Digimon are the best of friends & have similiar personalities. He is best friends with Sora & Koushiro. He doesn't like Yamato until about the end of the season. He seems to act to Mimi & Jyou as good aquaintences. He thinks of Takeru as the younger brother he never had. Matt Ishida/Ishida Yamato Age: 11 Crest: Friendship Matt is the cool guy and the rebel of the group. He's introspective and sensitive, but tries to hide his feelings hoping nobody will notice. He's rebellious in the way that he rejects Taichi's leadership. He's used to being on his own and he doesn't like guidance.

Description: Sora is the oldest girl in the group & the one who keeps the group from becoming a mess or breaking apart (That is along with Taichi). In the American version, she's also referred to as a tomboy even though she really isn't. She plays soccer even though her mother doesn't want her to because she feels that Sora should be helping her in her flower shop since Sora is the one who's going to own it next. When her mom forbid her to play soccer once when she was hurt, she started to feel that her mom didn't understand or love her. She later found out her mother was just worried about her. She acts as an older sister to the whole group. Izzy Izumi/Izumi Koushiro Age: 10 Crest: Knowledge He is the brain of the group. Izzy spends so much time trying to figure things out that sometimes he misses out on the actual experiences. Mimi Tachikawa/Tachikawa Mimi Age: 10 Crest: Sincerity/Purity Mimi is the self-centered individual of the group that's not affraid to say what's on her mind. Although she likes to be the focal point of every situation, once she gets beyond herself she is a very sweet girl.

He has a green watch on his right wrist & a gold bracelet on his left. Description: Jou is the oldest kid in the group but definetly not the bravest. He is a hypochondriac & a pessimist. He is also usually a coward but sometimes is surprisingly brave. He is worried because his father wants him to become a doctor even though Jou is afraid of blood. His brother Shin tells him to follow his own dreams but this seems to confuse Jou even more. Since they have very different personalities, Jou & Gomamon sometimes argue a little but they are actually very good friends. He looks up to Taichi (as in personality wise. It can't be height wise because Jou is much taller Taichi). I think he has a crush on both Mimi & Sora. He is good friends with Yamato & Koushiro. He is also very protective of Takeru. TK Takaishi/Takaishi Takeru Age: 8 Crest: Hope T.K. is the kid of the group. He is Matt’s little brother but acts almost nothing like him. He has a gentle, sweet and innocent personality. T.K looks up to Matt. He doesn’t really understand what is going on all the time. Kari Kamiya/Yagami Hikari Age: 8 Crest: Light Kari was the eight Digidestened that Myotismon was looking for. She may be small, but she has an open mind and a strong heart.
