Evangelions, are biomechanical robots. They are huge, and each contain a human soul. In Antarctica, on the Katsuragi expedition, Adam was found. Man, used it, to create the EVA's, in their own image. For their arrogance, and toying around with God, they were punished....thus the Second Impact. All EVA's that don't have an S2 engine, are connected by an "umbilical" wire, which supplies the the EVA with power (they only have 5 minutes of power without it). The Evangelions are real living things, and their power is contained by the armor/shells that they wear. All of them have something called an AT (Absolute Terror) Field. These are super powerful "beam shields" that protect the EVA. Unfortunatly, all of the Angels have them too. I am only discluding information about EVA Units 00-03. I do not want to get into End of Evangelion, because this site only specifies on Neon Genesis Evangelion. |

| Description: This unit is purple and green. It is the "main" EVA, and is probably the most powerful.
It goes into berserk mode twice, and shreds its enemies to a pulp. In one episode, it even eats an angel. This EVA possesses the soul of Yui Ikari, and was not designed from Adam, but from Lilith, which is why Gendo and SEELE value it so much. |

| Description:This EVA was classified as the thirteenth angel, due to Bardiel taking it over. NERV was forced to use the dummy plug to attack it, since Shinji wouldn't attack another human being. Toji barely lived through the ordeal and Shinji was devastated. |
