Kaho Mizuki/ Layla McKenzee is substituting for Sakura's math teacher. She later becomes the Teacher of Sakura's class.
She wears Chinese clothing and lives with her father at their Temple. She knows about the Clow Cards and has a special ability to see things, like Touya/Tori. Her weapon is a Bell that has streamers and has the character for "moon" on it. The bell was a gift from Clow Reed, to give the CardCaptor a second chance at the Final Judgement.
She went out with Touya/Tori a while back, when he was in junior high and she was his math teacher. She still continues to call him "To-ya". They were very close, but when she returns to Japan she knows that Toya has found new love with Yukito, which she may or may not have known would happen before she left.
She is a mysterious figure who never really lets on as to who she really is. In the Sakura card series, she moves to England but still writes to Sakura. She does however make an appearance in the last episode. She has been staying with Eriol/Eli and it is through him that she learnt of Clow Reed and was able to help Sakura. It is debatable whether she has a relationship with Eriol/Eli.
