Spinel/Spinner lives with Eriol/Eli and Nakuru Akizuki/ Ruby Moon. Spinel/Spinner spends most of his time reading at home. He aids Eriol/Eli in his evil ways and appears to dislike Sakura. He spends most of his time as a small cat-like creature with wings, not unlike Kero. However, when Eriol/Eli calls upon him, he transforms into his true form. He and Kero are rivals as both are Sun Guardians and Kero sees him as competition.
