Welcome to my page about Final Fantasy X. This is the 10th game in a series of excellent RPGs.
The game focuses on boy called Tidus who is transported 1000 years into the future by a large monster named Sin.
He meets up with a Summoner called Yuna who is on a Pilgrimage to defeat Sin. Tidus becomes one of her Guardians and the group go off on their quest.
For most of the game, we here Tidus' thoughts and feelings aswell as finding out what happened by playing the game. Tidus is actually telling his story from the ruins of Zanarkand as the group stop here before meeting with Yunalesca and Summoning the Final Aeon. Throughout the story we see the developing relationship between Tidus and Yuna.
SPOILER ALERT: This site contains details on the story and ending to the game.
This Game was the first of the Final Fantasy series to be played on the Playstation 2. The graphics are superb giving you a real sense of the 3D world. The story is good, but unlike the other Final Fantasy games, it is very linear with no sidequests apart from finding your ultimate weapons.
Although the ending is good it is a little disappointing. It was extremely sad and made you want to cry when Tidus puts his arms around Yuna and then Yuna's speach brings the tears back, but unlike FFVIII and FFIX there wasn't that sense of fulfillment. The ending for FFVIII was brilliant as it gave the player an insite into a lot of the characters emotions and feelings, like Laguna and Rinoa and FFIX was absolutely heart wrenching as it kept the player in suspense and used a combination of emotive music and stunning graphics ending in a magnificent finale. But with FFX I was left expecting something else to happen and the scene after the credits kind of spoilt it. However, it is none the less one of the best games around.
