Here is one of my favorite anime series ever, it consists of 13 tapes in the series and, if you can find it fansubbed, the ova series of 2 tapes.
This story is about the not so distant future, the world is being over polluted and organic based beings are coming into existance, the want to "take back the world" and distroy the human race.
I really really like this series, soo.... you should all look into it! =^_^=
