Star: A white diamond shaped mark on the horse's forehead.

Blaze: A thick white stripe running down the horse's face.

Snip: A small white marking on the muzzle.

Stripe: A thin white marking running down the horse's face.

Bald Face (White Face): A large white marking that covers most of the horse's face.

Leg Markings

Coronet: A white marking around the coronet band.

Short White Pastern: A white marking just below the pastern.

White Pastern: A white marking extending to the pastern.

Sock: A white marking extending to the cannon.

Stocking: A white marking extending to the hock or knee.
