I first heard this song in a commersial of a TV series "Crossing Jordan", and immediately fell in love with it (although apparently not deeply enough to actually watch the series). Anyway, one day I've spent like five hours on the Internet, trying to figure out whose song it is and then to download it. So now I'm proud to inform you that the group that performs it is called Garbage. On the more serious note, I like this song so much because that's exactly how I feel. I'm such a perfectionist that I constantly drive myself insane with worries (literally!!! Haven't you noticed it yet?) Plus I enjoy paradoxes, and this song obviously has a lot of those.
