Sky Fragments |
Eternal Frost |
Ice and snow covered islands to the north. There are some beautiful ice caves here, if you like the cold that is. |
A long tundra that seems to stretch on forever. Snowstorms are constant here, and it isn't a pleasant place to be. |
Dark Forest |
Aouui Mountains |
Slightly warmer than the Crystaled Pines, this forest is on the west site of the Aouui mountains. This forest is full of large trees, and usually doesn't have much light. |
The Aouui mountains are hard to cross for the inexperienced person. There are a few passes through the mountains, but mostly it is solid gray rock (turning orange further south). There are many caves along it, and many tales of mountain creatures as well. |
Horision |
Crystaled Pines |
This small mountain range to the north east is very cold all year. Yet, it is very beautiful if you can make it to the top. Sunsets light up the surrounding area with beautiful colors. |
This forest is full of medium sized pine trees. It is usually covered in snow, but closer to the meadow it becomes a bit warmer. |
Field of Innocence |
Thorn of Hope |
Wild flowers dot this meadow as far as the eye can see. There are a few springs and rocky ridges with waterfalls in them, but mostly it is a meadow. |
No one in their right mind would come here. Mud and slime is the floor, the trees are all blackened and dead by a fire, the only animals that come here are diseased. Whatever does live here is none too kindly to strangers. |
Shattered Sorrow |
Gold Isles |
Named for the beautiful lagoon that resides in the center, the sand is a silvery blue color. A legend tells of the sereith's sorrow and this lagoon, but it was lost a long time ago. Great fishing, or just relaxing in the sand. |
These small islands off the east side are tropical and full of exotic plants. Be careful though, for many plants here are poisionous - some animals also. |
Golden Plains |
Broken Bridge |
Golden grass stretching from one side to the other. Swift winds race across these plains, catching up in huge wind storms that are dangerous to those who don't know how to deal with them. |
These series of islands were named because they look like a bridge. People have built bridges connecting them, but the salty water has rotted some of the wood - and the bridge may give out from under you at any time. |
