Canine Protection Coalition CPC

Canine Protection Coalition

(CPC) Fundraising Raffle

The Canine Protection Coalition (CPC), Inc. was incorporated in Washington State in October, 2003. The CPC is a non-profit corporation and we are seeking individuals in the canine community to join us in developing initiatives to protect all dogs. Our goal is to form an alliance to implement changes that no single club or group can accomplish alone.

See our website at http://www.caninepc.org/

The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America, Inc. originally began a lobby effort in March of 2002 by hiring Dr John Melcher to work with the USDA, Animal Care. See http://bmdcgs.org/lobby/default.htm for more details. The goal was to get this effort started and then invite the rest of the dog world to join in as we partner to:

* Lobby for regulation/enforcement of existing animal welfare laws.

* Pool our advertising resources to educate the public and begin working together to offer high visibility ads in a variety of publication and media.

Bernese Mountain Dog fanciers have supported the effort since its inception and have been successful in gaining access to the USDA Animal Care and is beginning to see better enforcement of regulations. It is time for all canine fanciers to join together in order to make our voices heard.

And so The Canine Protection Coalition, Inc has begun.

Please show your support by entering this fundraiser to support the CPC lobby and education efforts.

"Great news friends! Thanks to the generousity of an anonymous donor, the next 10 people that send a check to the Canine Protection Coalition Raffle for 50 dollars or more will receive 10 extra tickets. We can note your name on the tickets or you can designate the tickets to go to someone else.

Raffle tickets are an excellent way to say "thank you" to deserving hard workers in any breed! Your choice. Please help us get the word out to all the purebred fancy so we can obtain their support. One person recently asked the artist if she would do a sketch of a Mixed Breed companion if they were to win the raffle. The answer is yes, Lace has loved and lived with some incredible Mixes and it would be her honor. So please pass the word and put in for your tickets soon."
