December 3rd 2012 - Sadly, Bella, now aged 7 yrs was diagonosed with malignant histio in October. She is still with us. We are treating her holistically and with lomustine. She had her third dose last Thursday. She is responding well to treatment and our oncologist has said that there has been a partial response. As long as her appetite and energy are good, we will do whatever we can for our girl. 
December 19th '12 Bella is doing okay, and she has her possible 4th round of lomustine this Thursday. She is a bit anaemic but otherwise, eating and energy are good. Our thoughts and prayers stay with Kristin and her family for Bella to respond well to treatment. 
January 3rd '13 - We took her up to the local mountains of Los Angeles yesterday and today spent the day playing in some snow. She was truly in her element. We have taken her to Colorado before, and she just loves the cold weather of course. We even met a 9 month old BMD named Stella while on a walk. Very sweet. Bella is doing okay. Her RBC came back around 24-25% last week. Tomorrow acupuncture and more herbs. With much sadness Bella lost her very brave fight a few days ago
