Hillary Rodham Lynn's 2 1/2 yr old Yorkie girl who has been having problems 
Hillary is just back from the ER vet with a cute pink bandage with purple hearts where she had the IV Hillary is recovering from another episode of vomiting and diarrhea with blood. This is the second time in six weeks that this girl has been rushed in to ER and needed to be put on IV fluids. The ER vet today has diagnosed possible Hemorrhagic GastroEnteritis (HGE) My understandin and from what I read this is more common in smaller breed dogs which Hillary is, and usual onset of this condition is 2.4 yrs, she is now 2 1/2 yrs. Ruling out ulcers, viral infections, bacterial infections, parasites, poisoning, etc. seems that no-one knows what causes this condition. Hillary has previously been fed raw --sometimes lamb, sometimes chicken, beef (usually Nature's Variety)...and about 3 weeks ago Lynn switched to MOTHER NATURES RECIPE because it was all organic..... Lynn is at her wits end, 3 out of 4 of the vets she has seen have said to change the diet to a bland diet, the other vet said he didn't think it was the diet but had no other suggestions.
