BMDCNV SUMMER PICNIC & TEE SHIRT FUNDRAISER 2010 Hey Everybody it's time for our summer picnic and this year we're doing a fundraiser too! We are so excited to be organizing and planning for this years summer picnic to be held August 7, 2010 1pm til dark at Salt Rock Campground Rt. 97 Sprague/Baltic CT. Directions... go down long driveway, bare left & stop at office, then proceed to our designated area.... follow the paw prints... The perfect place for a fun time! Try to arrive around 1pm so you can join our parade of dogs through the campground waving our Swiss flags! flags will be available for min. fee. Carts welcome! Lunch will be buffet style & members have volunteered to cook for us! Hamburgers, hot dogs, rolls and condiments, plates, napkins and utensils and a table for serving will be provided, bring salads, chips and desserts to share! Bring your own drinks & chairs, too! In the afternoon we'll play a couple of BERNER games! Please send me a quick reply with # of dogs and people attending so planning will go smoothly. The earlier you rsvp the better! We want to plan enough food and prizes for all!!! And this year we are having a little fundraiser to benefit BERNER, INC....... BMDCNV Rescue - BERNER Inc. In 2008, the BMDCNV voted to spin off its rescue and education programs into a separate 501(c)(3) corporation and Rescue – Northeast Region, (BERNER Inc.) is a non-profit organization, staffed by a group of volunteers, working to provide medical care and placement in adoptive homes for BMDs who have been surrendered to shelters, pounds or to us.
