In Loving Memory of Bart Eur-Ams Ursus Americanus (The Black Bear) February 19th 1999 to September 2nd 2008 Loved and so deeply missed by Kristy Reed Johnson anf family "Bart was one of those very very special dogs that we are blessed to have in our lives so rarely. He died on Sunday, Labor Day weekend 09/02/2008. His birthday and our oldest grandson's are on the same day (different year). He was a dog who lived with us "old people" and relished the visits of the grandkids as they grew up & grew in number. Because were are retired, he never left our side. He was allowed in hotels that didn't allow dogs. He was a prince among dogs. I am in tears as I write this. This is a horrible horrible kind of cancer that I had never heard of until Bart."
