Una Am/Can/ Int’l Ch Ebnet’s Una Am CD RAE NDD BNDD HIC CGC/Can CDX RE DD BMDCA and BMDCC VD August 7th 2001 to February 8th 2012 Owned and adored by Meredith Gilbert and Mary Ann Hendryson Bred and loved by Lisa and Sean Ebnet Now so very sadly missed! 
We dreamed of her making it to 12 but it was not to be. Wanted to let you know that Una contributed samples to the BG repository and her lab report stating it was definitely histio has been made available to the records as well. She was my heart dog, my everything. However, we soldier on as I live with her best Berner friend, Karma, and her great niece, Reka. Pat, I wanted you to know as you have taken such great pics of her at specialties and have been so sweet to her on those occasions. Above a photo from November after we knew the diagnosis. Oh, and you might be interested to know that we opted for chemotherapy with the drug Lomustine and were very pleased with how well she responded. I think progress IS being made in fighting this curse. It's just never enough time. 
Una is our first show dog, our first obedience dog, our first draft dog, our first rally dog. Following in her father’s footsteps, she is a Versatility Dog in both the U.S. and Canada. Independent and charismatic she is still surprising us and making us proud. She recently earned her Canadian CDX at nearly 10 years old. Best of all, every morning she still enthusiastically asks “What are we doing today, Mom?”
