Fortune Victor from the Cariboo November 20th 1999 to October 3rd 2006 Loved and missed by Lesley Joanisse and Don Allen 
Fortune was our first Berner. He was a great introduction to the breed for us. He suffered from chronic illness and was a great teacher. Throughout his life and the hurdles he overcame with his health, he remained strong, proud and happy. Fortune had an unflappable temperament and carried a quiet, peaceful, gentle soul. We should all strive to reach such inner contentment. He taught us patience and unconditional love, and I will thank him always for those gifts. When Fortune left us, he didn't know or understand how much he had changed our lives, but he did leave us knowing how very much he was loved. # His ashes are resting beside the cookie jar he stared at everyday. He is in heaven now. We sure miss the big guy!
