This photo was taken on
her 14th birthday! She was starting to slow down a little, but
rallied for the big day in fine spirits. We live in a tropical
climate so her owner had her clipped to keep her cooler and easier
to care for. Sadly they had her euthanized about 4 months later when
she finally could no longer lift herself up – but every day
until the last couple were good days – and that’s the best
any one of us could hope for.
