old!

"Hey, it's my 9th
Birthday and the sun is shining and I feel good!"
"Jean asked me what
I wanted to do most on this very special day,
well, I don't want to dress up and pose for pics,
I just want to go for a long, gentle walk.
I have been a very sick Berner but I am getting better,
I am a Fighter, I'll make it to the Veterans Page yet!!
"Fighting Talk,
Barn," says Miss Pixie "Let's go!!
And when we get back there are two marrow bones for each of us
waiting!
Cassie brought us one each yesterday and Charles arrived
earlier with two more!
We'll go check out the woods now and chase some squirrels and
have a real Dogs' Day!"
