Jean & Berners L to R, Barney, Pixie Pup and Sunny Here we are outside Kilverts in Hay on Wye enjoying a welcome drink or two! It was the Golden Valley Hunt Meet here in Hay today and I thought this was a really good chance to socialize Pixie some more, such a spectacular and festive event with all those horses and hounds and the huntsmen in their full regalia. The Town was crowded for the occasion, so Pixie got the chance to meet lots of new folk with their kids and dogs as did Sunny and Barney too! Sitting outside the pub with our pints, it was too packed to go inside, these Bernese certainly attracted a lot of attention and I answered many, many questions about the breed. All three behaved so well and had so much fun, I am so very proud of them all. Hoping you all too have been enjoying a wonderful Holiday Time!
Sadly, this was to be the last picture of us all together. Sunny died, aged 11 yrs in the early hours of January 3rd 2006.
