Life Goes On at Longlease |
We are all missing Simbo so much much. His sudden death from Malignant
Histiocytosis was such a shock to us all but we have been keeping busy
and trying to get life back to the new normal.
Perhaps the hardest part has been when friends came over for the first time after his death and were just so very aware that he was not down at the gate with Sunny and Barney to greet them. James had known Simmy from a puppy and was so very sad. But does his best to be cheerful for Sunny and Barney. Barney does his best to entertain us Sunny is very saddened. Now 10 years old this is her second pal lost too young to cancer but she is OK! A fun visit from cousin, Liz, and her two year old, Michael, the first time he has met such big dogs! "I like these big dogs even though they like my biscuits!" "Mum, I don't want to go home, I like it here!" And a very special visit from Took Bussard who has been so very supportive during this difficult time. A Big, Thank You to You All! Simmy's loss was so sudden, so sad, he was so very young. Was a great comfort to us that our sadness at his death was shared by so many people all over the world and that you too remember the Tails of the Happy Times. In Simmy's memory we continue the crusade against Malignant Histiocytosis, one day we will find the answer! *Histio Roll Call* |
