What time is it?

Dear Diary,

Tomorrow is my birthday. Yes, today is October 28, and I feel different today. Could it possibly be the feeling of turning another age? Or could it be something else? I sense my father’s uneasiness and anxiousness. I have no idea what there is to be so uneasy and anxious about. There’s something he’s not telling me and I know it. He told me there will be a party for me at the Moon Kingdom with Queen Serenity. Why it is at the Moon Kingdom is beyond me. I cannot figure out why such a small occasion requires so much of a celebration.

Time used to make me grow tired. Time seemed to go so slow, but now I’ve learned to feel the moment. Capture time in my heart as the joyous times come to me. What is happening to me?

I’m still worried that there’s something that I don’t know. But what can I do but wait?

Dear Diary,

Can you believe it? I am actually fourteen! It is so amazing. I wish this moment would last forever. Or travel back through time and see how much I’ve matured. Not only physically, but mentally and emotionally. As time passes,…….. that’s another thing. I speak mostly of the time. But what is this supposed to mean. Time is an endless word, and means something special to me, but I don’t exactly know why. How could something such as time be special?

I am now leaving for the Moon Kingdom. See ya later!

Dear Diary,

I felt a very big shock, today. I will try to relive the moment. Moment? What’s that supposed to mean? I’m very sorry. I get a scare from every word that has anything to do with the time.

I entered in a beautiful dress from my palace collection. My father requested that I wear it. I was glad he did, because when I entered, everyone was dressed very formally. I had a few snacks, but I was too nervous to eat a real meal. I’m glad, otherwise I would have disposed of it when I heard the announcement from Queen Serenity.

” Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to make a toast to Setsuna. She is our Guardian of the Underworld.”

I had fainted. The Queen explained how Chronos, a very ancient ancestor who was guardian of the underworld, and how it was carried from generation to generation. I was named Sailor Pluto, and was given three taboos. Three which I must not speak of. Sorry, diary.

Dear Diary,

I’m sorry, I haven’t written in a while. I’ve just been thinking. What do you do once you find out that you’re destiny has already been chosen for you as time keeper? Yes, the Queen did say Guardian of the Underworld, but technically it means time keeper.

I’m sorry that this had to happen. One minute, I have control of my life, and the next…… A minute. What is a minute? A sixty times consistency of an hour? A time range containing only a certain amount of seconds? I don’t seem to know anymore. Time has a whole new depth. Much more than I can explain. It’s just a strange tingling in my heart. Time that is.
