Mecha Anime and Game Desciptions

Xenogears: This is a PSX game, that involves giant robots. It is a Squaresoft RPG, and was stopped being shipped to the US of A, due to its controverse religious beliefs. (it is still possible to find though).

Gundam: This is a highly famous anime trilogy, that has been around since 1979. There are multiple series, involving; Mobile Suit Gundam 0079, 0086, 008th MS Team, Gundam Wing, Gundam X, ZZ Gundam, G-Saviour, Turn-A-Gundam, and Victory Gundam. Some of those are just movies though. These animes all involve Minovsky powered, Gundanium Alloy, robots, that destroy their enemies, while overcoming other things.

Eskaflowne: In this anime, a girl named Hitomi, is transported to another world, and meets Van Fanel, a prince, who's country has been destroyed, and is battling the Zaibach Empire, with his allies, such as Allen Shezaar.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: There is no way, I can even begin to explain this! See it for yourself!

Heavy Gear: In Heavy Gear 1 you're a pilot and you have different missions where you must pilot your "Gear" and carry out your mission with or without your teammate's support. Long story short: This is a better version of Mech Warrior.

Big O: This is an extremely short anime series. It involves a city who has lost its memory, an aristocratic negotiator with a huge robot, and an android who tries adapting to human emotions and life. It is an okay series, nothing special.

Voltron: This is a lousy/old anime, that Power Rangers basically copied, and made even worse. The robot is stupid looking, and the characters are lame. Don't go out of your way to see it. Actually, don't see it at all!

Transformers: This is a cool little show. It is old, like Voltron, and eventually evolved into Beast Wars, and the crappier Beast Machines. It involves cars and other vehicles/dinosaurs that turn into nifty fighting robots. "Traaaaaaansformers, in Disguise!"~Motto of Transformers.

Zone of the Enders: This is a PS2 game, with awesome mecha's called Orbital Frames. You are a cowardly boy, who somehow gets a hold of this omni-potent mecha, and you must complete your mission and hand it back to the military. This game has great controls and gameplay.

Robotech/Macross: I have never seen this, but it used to be on Toonami, and it was VERY popular.
