Rei is dreaming but we don't know that yet. She is surrounded in darkness and everyone around her are stone statues including the other Sailor Senshi. She sees that a dark power is approaching and was destroying the city with ease. She wakes up with a jolt and the girls are having a study session. The dream stays on her mind and disturbed her, so much that she started treating Usagi nicely. Usagi was even more surprised by this, after bumping into Rei after failing a test..
    Meanwhile, a new enemy had arrived. Professor Tomoe, a shadowed figure who was only visible by his glasses and weird smile, was working on a daimon egg. He explained to his companion, Kaolinite, that a daimon egg would steal a heart crystal from someone with a pure heart. Since they were looking for the three talismans that were sealed inside pure human hearts, they would have to search for three people with pure hearts with the daimon eggs. Tomoe sent Kaolinite out with the daimon egg to find someone with a pure heart.
    Rei went back home, the uneasiness feeling still lingering so she made a prayer. Unfortunately for Rei, she was the first victim of Kaolinite's. Kaolinite released the daimon egg, which transformed into a monster and pinned Rei against a tree. Usagi heard Rei's screams and transformed, but the monster was very strong. Tuxedo Kamen even threw a rose and encouraged Sailor Moon to use her "Moon Princess Halation" attack, but it didn't work on the monster. The monster pinned Sailor Moon against a tree and bit Sailor Moon's brooch; the silver crystal stopped glowing and Sailor Moon transformed back to Usagi. The other Senshi have already arrived but they are in the same predicament.
    This is when we first meet the notorious Sailor Uranus and Neptune. They appeared shadowed, and hidden in a tree. When the monster took out Rei's heart crystal, a red and pink pointed glowing star, Uranus and Neptune destroyed the monster and took the heart crystal. However, they said it wasn't a talisman, so they returned the crystal to Rei and left.
    The second episode of the series describes how Usagi powers up and receives her "Spiral Moon Heart Attack!" and her new Moon Heart Rod. She was attacked by another daimon, one born of a puzzle and shaped like a huge cat when Tuxedo kamen protected Usagi from its attacks. She was shown the Moon Kingdom and Moon Heart Rod was basically born of Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Moon's love for each other. Now Sailor Moon as granted a new attack called the "Moon Spiral heart Attack!" and new transformation phrase called "Moon Cosmic Power Make Up!" Sailor Moon was able to defeat their enemies and soon Sailor Moon realized that a new enemy had come when Kaolinite kept trying to steal heart crystals. Each time the daimon got the heart crystal from a pure heart, Uranus and Neptune would arrive on the scene and steal the heart crystal to see if it was a talisman or not. When they found out it wasn't a talisman, they would return it to the person so that the person wouldn't die which would happen if the heart crystal is gone for too long. Sailor Moon kept asking Neptune and Uranus to join them, but Neptune and Uranus continued to stay aloof of the girls. They thought Sailor Moon was too weak to bother with. Sometimes they might help out the girls if they were being attacked by a monster... but usually they'd just leave the battle scene as soon as they checked the heart crystal.
    About the same time that Sailor Neptune and Uranus appeared on the scene, the girls learned about Kaiou Michiru, a beautiful and talented violinist, and Tenou Haruka, a handsome and equally-talented racer. At first the girls thought that Haruka was a boy and that Michiru was his girlfriend, until they found out that Haruka was a girl as well. There's this one episode with stalker Minako and stalker Usagi following Haruka around. Michiru and Haruka were both a year older than the girls, although usually they'd act much older than the girls, and call them "cute" or "full of life." Although they were friendly with the girls, and the girls respected them a lot, Michiru and Haruka remained mysterious.
    Soon Ami was attacked first when she doubted herself about her abilities as a student and doctor, then Makoto who was attacked by haruka's handkerchief. Professor Tomoe kept getting annoyed when Kaolinite hadn't found any talismans, so Kaolinite promised to find one by checking an "extremely pure heart" which happened to be Usagi. Kaolinite attacked Usagi on her birthday, June 30th, by attaching the daimon egg to Usagi's glass slippers, a present from Mamoru. However, when attacking Usagi, Usagi tried to take out her heart compact and transform. The monster knocked it away and took out Usagi's heart crystal. It began to glow in a strange way, and Kaolinite was happy that they finally found a talisman. Uranus and Neptune were watching as well, and they both felt bad. They knew they had to get the talismans at any cost, to "stop the silence from coming," but Usagi was still their friend.
     Tuxedo Kamen appeared and using his rose, he knocked Usagi's heart crystal back into her and rescued her, and they both escaped across the buildings. Kaolinite was really mad that they kept interfering and suddenly saw the heart transformation brooch and she realized it was the same as Sailor Moon's heart compact, and concluded that Usagi was Sailor Moon.
    Kaolinite and the monster were tailing Usagi and Tuxedo Kamen, with Uranus and Neptune following at a distance. Tuxedo Kamen and Usagi got stuck in a parking garage, and he told Usagi to escape while he held off Kaolinite. However, the monster sprayed him with something that froze him in this crystal, and Kaolinite taunted Usagi calling her "Sailor Moon."  At that moment the Sailor Senshis arrived at the scene. Kaolinite told them that if they wanted Tuxedo Kamen they'd have to come to Tokyo Tower and give her Usagi's heart crystal. Then she vanished with Tuxedo Kamen. Usagi rushed off to Tokyo Tower without anyone else as Mars cried, "Do you think you can do everything by yourself??" but Usagi didn't listen. Then Michiru and Haruka pulled up in a car and asked if she needed a ride. Usagi gladly took it and they sped off.
    Michiru asked Usagi if she'd made up with Mamoru, since Mamoru had forgotten Usagi's birthday, and Usagi suddenly got very sad. Haruka, still upset about what they were going to do to Usagi, said that everyone in the world was sacrificing each other, and that sometimes sacrifices were necessary. Usagi remembered that Uranus and Neptune had said that before, and wondered if Haruka or Michiru were them. Then Usagi replied that the people who were sacrificing others were fine, but what about the people who were being sacrificed? She said that she couldn't stand to see anybody unhappy, and thought that if everybody worked together, nobody would have to be sacrificed. Michiru smiled, and said Usagi was a very nice girl. This made her think that if they had to sacrifice usagi, it would be very hard on them in the future.
    They arrived at the tower, and Usagi thanked Haruka for the ride and ran off. Michiru asked Haruka if she was really sure, and Haruka said that "Odango Atama" (Dumpling Had, or Meatball Head* would have to be sacrificed. However, Haruka was having doubts as well. Kaolinite invited Usagi into an elevator while the Senshi arrived at the Tower. They couldn't get in, and then Luna told Venus that everything was "up to her." Usagi reached the top, and Usagi stopped when she saw Tuxedo Kamen frozen in glass. Kaolinite threatened him again, and Usagi said she didn't care about herself, but to not touch him. The monster extracted the crystal and, of course, Uranus and Neptune appeared and stole it. Then they realized it wasn't a talisman. Neptune said that the "brilliance" of the heart crystal was related to its pureness, not to it being a talisman. Uranus was very relieved, and returned the crystal to her, but Kaolinite she'd kill Usagi anyway, or "Sailor Moon!" Neptune and uranus had already stopped and they just stared at usagi. Then someone called out "That girl is not Sailor Moon!" The Senshi appeared along with "Sailor Moon." Kaolinite couldn't believe it. It was sailor Venus posing a Sailor Moon after she used the Luna transformation pen. hey girls started saying Usagi couldn't be Sailor Moon because she was a klutzy crybaby. And this was starting to annoy Usagi. Kaolinite was so angry she threw away Usagi's heart compact and Usagi picked it up. Uranus and Neptune decided to make one of their trademark flights from the battle scene, but Kaolinite took off after them and told the monster to kill all the Senshi. Venus explained to Usagi that she'd used the Luna Pen to transform, and Usagi, with a big sweat drop asked Venus to take off that disguise. Then she transformed and destroyed the monster easily. The glass around Tuxedo Kamen vanished, and Sailor Moon was relieved that he was okay.
    Meanwhile Kaolinite was battling with Uranus and Neptune on the roof and they were joined by the other Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Kamen. Sailor Moon introduced herself eager to establish she was really Sailor Moon and Kaolinite started attacking them too. Kaolinite gained the monster's powers by creating a glass sword. Mercury said they should attack her with the "Sailor Planet Attack," but Mars pointed out that they would get attacked while powering up. However, Tuxedo Kamen attacked her with his extendable cane, and kept her busy while they were powering up. The girls hit Kaolinite with the attack, and although she was badly hurt, she wasn't destroyed. She was about to attack them again, but Uranus knocked her off the building with her "World Shaking" attack. Uranus and Neptune was shown  few floors below and Neptune asked why did Uranus help the Senshis out and she replied she just felt like it.
    Professor Tomoe decided to start using the Witches 5 as a replacement for Kaolinite. He picked Eudial first, a smart inventor and a terrible driver. Eudial pointed out that a new method of making daimon eggs might be a good idea, by attaching the egg to an inanimate object to associate the daimon egg with the monster (for instance, an egg attached to a tea cup would be a monster about tea). Tomoe agreed to the plan. Eudial also used a gun to extract a heart crystal, and would shoot people at a distance to get them. This was a pretty good idea and she had the most success.
    Meanwhile, Chibiusa had returned as "Sailor Chibi Moon" during a festival Rei was hosting. She became a Senshi in training and appeared when the monster was after a professional taiko drummer. She helped out and Haruka and Michiru were surprised that usagi was carrying around Chibiusa on her back much to Usagi's annoyance. She later said her mother, Neo-Queen Serenity, wanted her to train in the past. Chibiusa had a note explaining from Neo-Queen Serenity and Usagi demanded to see it but Chibiusa gave it Minako instead and Usagi was very annoyed at her. Minako started reading it and it as short. It said thanks for letting Small lady train in the past with you. I know you'll watch her for me. Neo-Queen Serenity *or something like that* and Minako was shocked. Neo-Queen Serenity sounded like a lot like Usagi, very assuming and irresponsible. Everyone else agreed. Usagi was screaming that was not how she was and Minako gasped. Everyone looked at the note gain and Minako said there was no kanji *Chinese characters, one of three Japanese alphabet systems. Hirangana and katakana is the other two. I know both, uh to some extent.* in the letter. Usagi was very embarrassed now and Ami started scolding her about the kanji they learned for high school entrance exams and Usagi stared making excuses. Luna was going, "Yeah that sounds like Usagi all right. She hasn't changed." And then Minako read on and there was a post script *P.S.* telling Usagi to study more in school and Neo-Queen Serenity wished she studied more in the past. *LOL!* Now everyone had a sweatdrop and Rei said she hoped Chibiusa wouldn't pick up any of Usagi's bad habits here and Chibiusa said Future Mars told her all sorts of "Stupid *baka* Usagi stories" which made Usagi jump Rei and they fought with Usagi screaming "What kind of stories? I know they're bad!" and Rei was shouting, "I don't know! It was Future Mars! Not me!"
    Neo-Queen Serenity  also told Chibiusa to makes lots of friends, so Chibiusa started to look around for friends, especially for boys. About the same time, the last of the Inner Senshi had their pure heart taken out, which happened to be Sailor Venus. Minako was depressed that everyone had had their heart crystal taken out, and began to wonder if she didn't have a pure heart. So, in order to get a pure heart, she started donating lots of blood and doing good deeds. The girls were a little worried since Minako was lying, saying she was 18 to donate blood but then Eudial shot Minako. Unlike most of the heart crystal victims, Minako didn't pass out or collapse. What she did was she grabbed her heart crystal and made this funny maniacal laugh. Usagi was perplexed, and Minako declared happily that she had a pure heart and she ran off, with Eudial, the girls, and Haruka and Michiru in confused pursuit. Minako finally collapsed in a parking garage, and Eudial was amazed at her "stamina." She was about to take the heart crystal, but Usagi told her to stop but Michiru and Haruka had snuck in and were watching. Eudial was annoyed and released the daimon, who sealed up the parking garage so that "no Sailor Soldiers could get in." Usagi noticed that Michiru and Haruka were in there, and thought she couldn't transform. But when Eudial was about to take the heart crystal, Usagi transformed anyway. Michiru and Haruka were shocked.
    The monster started attacking Sailor Moon but very reluctantly, *I think the monsters are all getting attitudes or just cowards now* and pinned her down. Eudial was about to take the heart crystal again, but then Michiru and Haruka transformed. Sailor Moon was really shocked. Sailor Neptune attacked the monster, and Sailor Moon used her "Moon Spiral Heart Attack" on Eudial and the monster. However, Eudial counterattacked using her fire gun, crying "Witchy Eudial Fire Buster!" Sailor Moon's attack was deflected by Eudial, but then it hit the daimon and destroyed it, releasing all the locks so the other Senshi ran inside. Eudial was happy that her attack was as strong as Sailor Moon's, and told all the Senshi to gather in a group or she would fry Minako. Meanwhile, Minako had woken up, and transformed. Eudial was perplexed that all of them had been Sailor Senshi. Sailor Venus used her "Venus Love Me Chain" to damage Eudial's gun, and Eudial quickly ran off. Sailor Uranus and Neptune were about to leave, but Sailor Moon called them Michiru and Haruka and the other Senshis were shocked. Sailor Moon asked them  why they were looking for talismans. Uranus and Neptune just told them it was none of their business, and left.
    That night Michiru and Haruka had a dream. When they woke up, they were sure that they would get a talisman that day. Tomoe had grown impatient with Eudial, and gave her one more chance. Eudial programmed her computer to search through the files of everyone in Tokyo and see if they had a talisman *which as pretty stupid because she could have done this much earlier but then she'll end the series faster too.* While going to her locker, Eudial found tacks in her shoes and snails all around her clothes, and heard Mimete bragging to the rest of the Witches 5 that she was the one who'd replace Eudial. Eudial was annoyed that her former student, Mimete, had turned on her, and vowed to find the talismans as fast as possible. Meanwhile, her computer had results as to the talismans and Eudial was very shocked but pleased. Eudial called up Haruka's and Michiru's residence, and left a message on the answering machine. She started laughing into the message and gloating about finding the people with talismans, and then the message cut off. *So funny!* So Eudial called back and finished her message: that if they want the talismans, to come to a certain place, and she faxed them the map. Haruka and Michiru thought she was telling the truth, since it coincided with their dreams. The Inner Senshi were still dealing with the surprise that Michiru and Haruka were Neptune and Uranus, when Haruka called up Usagi and asked her to go to an aquarium. Chibi-usa relayed this message to Mamoru, who wondered if Usagi would be okay. A long green haired young woman *Pluto!!* watched their conversation and then walked away, disappearing into the crowd.
    Usagi arrived at the aquarium, which was at the top of a building, and was amazed. She asked them if she could bring her friends next time, but they didn't answer. Then Haruka said to never appear in front of them again. Usagi pointed out that they were all Sailor Senshi, so they should work together. Then Haruka ripped away Usagi's heart compact and said that if Usagi interferes with them, she'd die. They transformed.
Uranus said, "We are looking for the three talisman hidden in the pure hearts of people. If we don't get all three, the holy grail will not appear." Neptune said, "The end of the world is coming. The only way to save us is the Messiah, who can use the talismans." However, when Usagi asked what they were talking about, they said it had nothing to do with her. They took off in a helicopter outside.
    Then the same green haired young woman walked up, and asked, "Do you want to help them?" When Usagi asked who she was, she replied she was an old friend of Haruka and Michiru, and that her name was Meiou Setsuna. Setsuna pointed out that it would be dangerous to follow, but Usagi said she'd be okay, and Setsuna told her where Neptune and Uranus were going. Sailor Neptune and Uranus arrived at a cathedral under construction. About to take Uranus' hand, Neptune said that they shouldn't worry about each other in there and only care about getting the talismans. Uranus asked her why she was telling her that when she already knew. "Of course..." Neptune said, and she let stop reaching for Uranus' hand. They entered the cathedral into this weird hallway. Eudial had a model of the Table Hockey, and she would push the hockey figurines, making the walls down there close and attempt to smash Uranus and Neptune. Uranus and Neptune dodged the walls well enough, until Uranus almost got hit. Neptune pushed her out of the way, and got caught by the wall which hit her against the wall, did a spin, and Neptune was gone. Uranus was shocked and cried out, "Neptune!" and then she heard Eudial over speakers. Eudial said that she had the first talisman, and that to come to the area of the cathedral if she wanted to save Neptune. Uranus didn't believe that Neptune had a talisman as she ran to her.
    Uranus entered the main area of the cathedral to see Neptune attached to a block across a bridge. Uranus started running across the bridge but arrows came out of the sides of walls and hit her. She collapsed. Eudial laughed at her, and said that anybody who attempted to cross the bridge besides her would feel the "wrath of heaven." She assured Uranus that she hadn't taken out Neptune's talisman yet, but instead was going to take out the talisman in Uranus' pure heart! Sailor Uranus didn't believe her. She pointed out that only a pure heart could have a talisman, and she didn't have one. Eudial said "We'll see," and pointed out that Uranus didn't want to "get her hands dirty" by sacrificing someone for a talisman. Eudial was about to shoot Uranus with her gun, when suddenly Neptune broke free of her block and cried out Haruka's name. She immediately got hit by the arrows coming out of the walls. *They were like energy arrows so we don't see them. ooh, I cried when I saw this part!* Uranus told Neptune to stop, but Neptune kept going and kept getting shot. Eventually the arrows ran out, but Neptune simply fell on Eudial, who shot her. Her talisman came out, the "Aqua Mirror." Uranus couldn't believe that they had the talismans, and looking up, asked, "Messiah, is this the punishment for our deeds?" Then someone cried, "Stop right there!" Uranus look over and saw a naked figure with wings ad long hair but the image vanished, revealing...Usagi!
    Usagi ran in and pushed Eudial off the bridge. Then Usagi asked the talisman to go back into Michiru, but Uranus told her to stop. She handed Usagi her heart compact, and then was about to shoot herself with Eudial's gun. Usagi couldn't believe it, and tried to take the gun away from her. Uranus said it was the only way, but Usagi said that they didn't need the talismans to win. Uranus stared at her, as Usagi said, "We'll win somehow!" Uranus remarked that when hearing Usagi say that, she thought they could win somehow. "For a minute back there, you looked like the Messiah," Uranus said. "But, I don't believe in your power!" Uranus pushed her away, and asked her to keep the talismans. Then she shot herself. Uranus fell over as the second talisman came out: the Space Sword. The Inner Senshi arrived to see Usagi crying over the bodies of Uranus and Neptune.
    Uranus whispered to Usagi that it didn't matter what happened to them, but she asked her to protect the talismans and find the last one, and then give the Holy Grail to the legendary Messiah. Usagi asked her who the Messiah was, and Uranus replied that when the Messiah received the Holy Grail, the world would be saved. Then Uranus went silent. Usagi got scared, but Mars said that they were breathing a little. Then Eudial appeared and Usagi transformed. Eudial blasted them with her "New and improved Fire Buster II!", stole the talismans, and took off. They were all stuck behind a wall of fire, and none of the girls' attacks worked. Then Chibi Moon and Tuxedo Kamen arrived, and Chibi Moon transformed her Luna P to a fire extinguisher and got rid of the flames. Tuxedo Kamen said he'd look after Uranus and Neptune, so the girls took off after Eudial. Eudial heard them, so she sprayed some sticky stuff across the floor to capture the Inner Senshi and Chibi Moon. However, since Sailor Moon was lagging behind, she was able to get across the glue by jumping on the bodies of the girls. As Mars put it, "If you don't get Eudial, we won't forgive you!"
    Eudial reached yet another main hall of the cathedral, and Sailor Moon arrived behind her. Eudial pointed out that she wasn't strong enough to beat her "Fire Buster II," but Sailor Moon attacked her anyway. Well, it didn't work. Eudial was about to finish Sailor Moon off, when Setsuna arrived and told her to give back the talismans. Then she transformed to Sailor Pluto. She said that she had the last talisman, and indicated the orb at the end of her Garnet Rod. Eudial was happy that she didn't have to search for the last talisman, but Pluto said that talismans shouldn't be in the hands of evil people. Pluto lifted up her talisman, and the Space Sword and Aqua Mirror floated up too to form a triangle. Pluto's tiara disappeared and her planetary symbol showed, and the same happened to Uranus and Neptune. They disappeared and reappeared in that room, where they woke up. Uranus and Neptune were very surprised that they were alive, and realized that no sacrifices had to be made to take out the talismans. Then the talismans created the Holy Grail. Pluto remarked that whoever held the Holy Grail would decide the fate of the planet. Then Eudial said, "It... will be mine!" Eudial fired off her gun again, capturing everyone in the flames again. Then she started running towards the Holy Grail. Sailor Moon saw what was happening and started running towards the Holy Grail too. Eudial blasted her with her gun, but Sailor Moon simply got up again and kept running. They both jumped up at the same time, but Sailor Moon pushed her aside and grabbed the Holy Grail. Then she was transformed to Super Sailor Moon. Uranus and Neptune were amazed, and wondered if she was the Messiah. Eudial tried her gun on Sailor Moon again, but Super Sailor Moon simply held up her hand and the fire was blasted back at Eudial. Eudial got badly hurt, and took off in her car. However, Mimete had rigged the brakes in her car, so Eudial went off a cliff. Then Super Sailor Moon transformed back to Sailor Moon and was exhausted. Uranus and Neptune replied that she wasn't the Messiah after all, since the Messiah could expend lots of energy and never get tired. So Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto decided that this was their new mission. To find the Messiah.
     Professor Tomoe had developed a different type of daimon, which would swallow the person's heart crystal and bring it back to him. He chose Mimete to be the next major enemy, but Mimete wasn't very serious about finding pure hearts. She'd rather read mangas and chase after idols. Maybe that's why the people she'd get heart crystals from were idols or manga drawers. Meanwhile, Setsuna talked to the Inner Senshi and told them that if the evil Messiah got the Holy Grail, the world would be destroyed, but if the good Messiah got the Holy Grail, the world would be saved. However, Setsuna didn't team up with them, and said she'd go around with Michiru and Haruka. The girls wondered why they did everything on their own all the time, and Ami said they had to find the Messiah themselves. When Sailor Moon had to fight a daimon, she found that her old attack didn't work anymore. However, when she touched the Holy Grail, she said, "Crisis, make up!" and was able to transform to Super Sailor Moon. Then she could use her "Rainbow Moon Heart Ache" attack and destroy the monster. The Outer Senshi decided to let Sailor Moon keep the Holy Grail for the time being.
    Later at night, Mamoru is called out and Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna were waiting. When he arrived, they transformed, and called themselves the "Three senshi of the Outer Planets." Mamoru transformed to Prince Endymion too. They explained that they had powers greater than the other senshi, and that during the Silver Millennium it had been their duty to defend the solar system from enemies. Then they said that it was their fault the Death Busters had gotten on the planet, and vowed that they would beat them. Prince Endymion asked them why they didn't cooperate with Sailor Moon, but Uranus said that they'd get in the way and that they were too weak. this really got Tuxedo mask angry since they couldn't work together.
Mamoru told the other Senshis later and they felt really bad they couldn't work together. In a later battle, Uranus kept telling Sailor Moon to leave the battle, but Sailor Moon wouldn't. However, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto couldn't defeat the bad guy. But when Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury arrived, they cornered the bad guy so that Sailor Moon could use her final attack and defeat it. Tuxedo Kamen pointed out to the Outers that even though the girls weren't as powerful as the Outer Sailors individually, that together they were powerful. During this time, Mimete came into power and her target was an actor in a Western that as filiming in the Juuban *10th Street* Park. Chibiusa wanted to go play and the girls took her. There the wind blew away her hat and a girl helped her retrieve it.
     Her name was Tomoe Hotaru *Saturn, baby! I love her! She's my fav!*. She and Chibiusa as hanging around when the monster attacked and Hotaru healed Chibiusa. Chibiusa walked Hotaru home and we find out she was actually Professor Tomoe's daughter!  However, when around Hotaru, Professor Tomoe acted pretty normal. We actually get to see him in the light; before he was always covered in shadow and all you could see were his eyes and his big mouth. Hotaru and Chibiusa played together and hotaru really cherished the friendship since it was her first real one. As Mimete attack more people, Hotaru get attacked or was in dangers since she played with Chibiusa and the girls. however, hotaru started developing powers, good and evil alike, and she actually helped the Senshis take down the monsters. Anyway, Hotaru was a very nice but weak young lady. Chibi-usa sometimes worried about her because she'd get winded after only a small walk.
However, it began to become apparent that Hotaru was being controlled by her father somehow. Sometimes she'd say strange things, and when she touched Usagi's heart compact she remarked about how much power was in it and how she wanted that power too. Usagi also noticed that a person who looked exactly like Kaolinite was Professor Tomoe's assistant. Usagi thought that it was just a coincidence that she looked like Kaolinite, but Kaolinite had died but was revived by Dr. Tomoe somehow. She was spending her life in the Tomoe's house tormenting Hotaru. *Being cruel to her*
    Soon we discover Hotaru was hosting "the Messiah of Silence," a parasitic creature that was trying to awaken fully by eating heart crystals. She was the master of all the daimons and Witches 5. This is why the Professor was still trying to get heart crystals even though they had already found all the talismans. It turns out that a while back Professor Tomoe was doing an experiment but that something had gone wrong, and everybody had died except for him. While holding his dead daughter in his arms, Tomoe agreed to sell his soul to the Daimon Master for his daughter's life. Then his soul was possessed by the Daimon Master, and lived like a parasite off of Hotaru. With the help of the Holy Grail, Messiah *god or bad can be the Messiah* was supposed to bring silence to the world and destroy everything. She was doing this to invite her master, Pharaoh 90, who could only live in silence. We also find out hotaru was really Sailor saturn *episode 119!!* when one monster started wreaking havoc and Hotaru's glowed with the Saturn symbol. After Sailor Moon killed the monster, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, and Sailor Pluto realized that Sailor Saturn was evil and they tried to kill her with their attacks but Sailor Moon and Chibiusa protected her. The Tomoe household moved away to everyone's dismay and Chibiusa was sad and angry at everyone not trusting her best friend.
    As the series progressed, Mimete was killed after stealing one of Eudial's inventions and she got stuck inside a large TV screen and a rival Witches 5, Tellu, killed her off.  Tellu would use a flowering plant to steal heart crystals when the flower bloom from people. By this time, Hotaru woke up and wondered where she was. She decided to visit chibiusa an she walked past Tellu's shop. Tellu stopped her, not knowing who she was *none of the Witches 5 knew her except Kaolinite* and gave her a pure heart crystal-stealing plant. Hotaru was happy and decided it will make a perfect gift for chibiusa since Tellu said the name "Terunrun" meant "good fortune." Hotaru gave the plant to chibiusa and Hotaru knew something was very wrong with her. She begged Chibiusa to help and Chibiusa agreed but then Kaolinite appearred and took Hotaru away. Chibiusa watched helplessly as Hotaru cried out for help. Meanwhile, Setsuna got her own plant and she discovered it was a trap set by the enemy. She visited Chibiusa and she saw the plant and accused Hotaru of tricking Chibiusa to steal her pure heart crystal but chibiusa said hotaru would never do that.
    Soon Tellu died in the same episode after being consumed by her own plants. The rest of the Witches 5 lasted a short amount of time, the next Witches 5 Vilely used computers and electronics to steal heart crystals from people in Haruka, Michiru, and Hotaru's private school, Mugen * Infinity* Academy, but Sailor Mercury figured out her plot and destroyed her wrist control and it backfired destroying her.
    The next Witches 5 Cyprine assured Professor Tomoe that she would get lots of heart crystals, unlike Kaolinite. Kaolinite overheard and was furious, and decided to get the best heart crystal for the Messiah of Silence. Meanwhile, Cyprine was summoning people to the Mugen Academy to take their heart crystals. All the Mugen students became like zombies and marched inside the school where a giant statue would draw out their pure heart crystals. Haruka and Michiru in heir school uniforms stayed in the shadows and watched from a distance They realized something wa happening upstairs nd they left to check it out.  The other girls and Usagi decided not to tell Chibi-usa about Mugen Academy to not worry her and they all left for Mugen. Cyprine figured out who they were and brought them to the principal's office. She called them Sailor Senshi and the girls transformed and started attacking Cyprine. Their attacks were deflected and then everyone was surround and taken to a new dimension when her twin, Ptilol, appeared.
    Meanwhile Chibi-usa had had a nightmare about Hotaru, so she snuck out to the Tomoe mansion to see her. Outside the building she transformed to Sailor Chibi Moon, as Kaolinite watched. Kaolinite was so happy that she was stealing the heart crystal from a Sailor Senshi as well. She realized Sailor Chibi Moon must had a really pure heart since she was so concerned over Hotaru. When Chibi Moon snuck into Hotaru's room, Kaolinite was about to grab her, when Tuxedo Kamen threw a rose and stopped her. Then Kaolinite knocked Chibi Moon out of the window and followed. Sailor Pluto appeared and used her "Dead Scream" attack on Kaolinite, but Kaolinite cast a red smoke screen and disappeared with Chibi Moon to everyone's dismay. At the same time, the Sailor Senshi teamed up and managed to get Cyprine and Ptilol confused enough to use their attacks on each other, and they killed each other. When they were destroyed, a dimensional vortex appeared, and Mercury quickly examined it. It led to the base of the Daimon invasion so they decided to enter.
    Uranus and Neptune were walking in a dimly lit passage in the Tomoe mansion. Then they saw Professor Tomoe standing in front of an table in front of a throne. Professor Tomoe welcomed them and said they were there just in time to see the ceremony. Then Chibi Moon appeared on the table. Uranus tried to rescue her but was deflected back by an invisible electric shield. The rest of the Senshi arrived as well, and were shocked to see Chibi Moon up there. Sailor Moon saw Sailor Chibi Moon and she tried but she as also deflected backwards. Tomoe summoned Kaolinite and said that she had done a good job to find such a pure heart.
    Then the Messiah of Silence stood up weakly and a purple hand came out of her and  reached out and grabbed Chibi Moon's heart crystal through her chest. Chibi Moon cried out and woke up, and saw Hotaru sitting on the throne. She was relieved that Hotaru was all right, and then passed out. As soon as the heart crystal left her body, she lost her transformation and died. The evil Messiah was about to swallow the heart crystal, when Sailor Moon cried out to Professor Tomoe and said that if he loved Hotaru he wouldn't do this. But Tomoe answered, "Love? What is that?" Chibi Moon's heart crystal was eaten by Messiah of Silence and Hotaru rapidly grew to an adult and declared herself the Messiah of Silence, "Mistress 9."
    Sailor uranus and neptune was shocked because they were expecting Sailor saturn. Then, after Tomoe complimented Kaolinite a second time, Mistress 9 struck her with a bolt and killed her, saying Kaolinite was no longer needed. Mistress 9 and Professor Tomoe started to leave, and at the same time, the building began to collapse. The Senshi escaped from the building with Chibi-usa, and met Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Pluto outside. At Mamoru's apartment, Mamoru had linked his life force to Chibiusa to keep her alive. The Outer Senshi and Inner Senshi both decided to go to the Mugen Academy to save Chibi-usa and Hotaru.
    The Outer Senshi were getting there in a helicopter. Uranus and Neptune were willing to kill Hotaru to save the world, but Pluto was having second thoughts. Meanwhile, the Inner Senshi were headed there on foot, when Mistress 9 sensed the arrival of "the Sacred Cup." *or chalice* Mistress 9 remarked that it was convenient that it was heading straight for them, but it would be bad to have to deal with them when not fully revived. So she put a black domed barrier around the Academy to protect them and let her chose only who enters. There was a star-shaped opening at the top, where daimon eggs were pouring out from and Mercury said that they couldn't get through the building with their attacks, so they'd have to use the Sailor Teleport. They were just about to teleport, but the daimon eggs transformed into gel humaniod things that hit them like waves. The girls used their attacks on them, but they kept coming.
    Sailor Moon used her "Moon Spiral Heart Attack" and destroyed a large amount of monsters, and the girls tried to teleport again. But then Mistress 9 wouldn't allow all of them so she took Sailor Moon and pulled her through a dimension into the building. The girls were left outside with the monsters and unable to teleport.
    As the Outer Senshi flew towards the barrier, they thought that they might be able to get in through the star-shaped opening at the top. However, when they got near it, they were spotted by the monsters and they attacked them, engulfing the helicopter and it exploded. Suddenly, uranus and neptune found themselves alive inside the helicopter as it exploded around them but nothing was moving. Sailor Pluto was using her Garnet Rod *staff* to stop time to save them all. Uranus and Neptune were shocked that Sailor Pluto hide such power and Sailor Pluto said she will be punished for a  taboo by stopping time since it was forbidden. Pluto asked them to find the true Messiah and she bid the them farewell before sending them inside the building. Uranus and Neptune landed and turned in fear when the helicopter exploded above them.
    Mistress 9 was impressed with the powers of the Outer senshis since they could stop time. She remarked that she was so full of power because of Chibiusa's heart crystal, but then a weak voice said from insode, "I'm using Chibiusa's pure heart crystal?" and Mistress 9 faltered but regained control and ignored the voice and transformed to Hotaru. Then she said she was going to get the chalice, and ordered Tomoe to get rid of Uranus and Neptune.
    Outside, the Inner Senshi saw that the barrier around the Infinity Building was growing larger, and decided to use their powers and keep it from growing and destroying the city. Inside Neptune and Uranus reached  hallway full of statues when Professor Tomoe appeared and told Uranus and Neptune that he wanted to use them as daimon vessels, like "this man here called Tomoe Souichi." Then he began to laugh and a large daimon separated itself from Tomoe and started attacking Uranus and Neptune. Neptune and uranus blew him up but he possessed the statues which became puppets. Eventually he caught them with thousands of puppet arms, but then Uranus and Neptune heard Pluto's voice saying "talismans." Both of them generated their talismans, and stood back to back. Neptune used her mirror and saw that of all the puppets surrounding them, only one of them was real. Uranus attacked the real one by stabbing it through the eye, and it laughed and exploded.
    Sailor Moon woke up and saw Hotaru next to her unconscious as well. Sailor Moon helped her sit up, and then Hotaru started begging Sailor Moon to take out the chalice. She said, "Please hurry, Usagi. Bring out the chalice now... it will save Chibi-usa too." Sailor Moon was about to believe her but heard her real name and became silent for a moment, and then asked Hotaru how she knew that she was Usagi. She asked did Chinas tell when but then Hotaru started laughing. Usagi said that she wasn't Hotaru, but Hotaru said that she was except that she was only the body. Then Hotaru transformed back into Mistress 9. Neptune and Uranus arrived and vowed to destroy her, but Sailor Moon told them not to since she was actually Hotaru.
    Hotaru's essence *spirit* could be heard apologizing to Chibi-usa for not being strong enough. Then it disappeared. Mistress 9 was happy that she was finally dead, but Sailor Moon called out for her anyway. Mistress 9 said that her master would be arriving from the "Tau system" soon, and Neptune and Uranus said they would stop her. They both formed their attacks and threw them at her, but Sailor Moon jumped in the way to protect her. The force sent her flying back only to smack into the force field that was surrounding Mistress 9. Uranus and Neptune yelled at her, and told her to stay out of the way. Mistress 9 used her hair to pin Uranus and Neptune against a statue, and then the hair melted into the statue and they were stuck. Mistress 9 threatened to kill them if Sailor Moon didn't give her the chalice and Mistress 9's long hair wrapped itself around their throats and became strangling them but despite all this Uranus and Neptune told Sailor Moon not to. Sailor Moon wouldn't listen because Uranus and Neptune were choking now so she began to bring forth the chalice.
    Then Professor Tomoe, now un-possessed, started stumbling forward from the darkness and whispering "Hotaru." Tomoe struggled forward and put his arms on her shoulders, saying that it was all his fault that things ended up that way. Mistress 9 had been expressionless up to this point, then she told him not touch him and blasted him back. Using her hair, she started to strangle him as well.
    Outside, the girls were maintaining the energy field that was holding in the daimons, but the girls were weakening. Inside, Tomoe was still getting strangled, but then a weak voice was coming out of Mistress 9 saying, "Papa... Papa..." Everyone was surprised when the hair released the victims from its hold and Sailor Moon cried out, "Hotaru?" Mistress 9 started doubling over, saying that her body was refusing her, and fell to the ground gasping in pain. Uranus told Sailor Moon to kill her now. But Sailor Moon refused, saying that Hotaru was still alive. Tomoe crawled over and asked if she was in pain, and Mistress 9 replied that she needed the chalice. Sailor Moon started to generate the chalice again, despite Uranus and Neptune screaming for her to not do it. Neptune said that she wasn't the Messiah, so she had no right to do that, but Sailor Moon said that there had to be some way to save the world but to not sacrifice anybody. Sailor Moon produced the Sacred Cup *also called Holy Grail, Purity Chalice (dub), and gave it to over to professor Tomoe who begged and thank her to helping Hotaru. Professor Tomoe brought it to Mistress 9 and she grabbed it and blasted everyone back, laughing.
    Then Mistress 9 stood up, laughing at Sailor Moon, and said that she would spare Sailor Moon's light by making her a Daimon vessel. Sailor Moon kept calling out for Hotaru, but Mistress 9 told her to give up. "The chalice is the crystallization of a pure heart with love, hatred, happiness, anger, and sorrow at the highest level. You'd have to have a crystal even more pure to defeat Pharaoh 90 after he absorbs it! You don't have a chance!" Mistress 9 put the chalice into a glass cylinder, and a black pillar of light shot straight up from the base of the building. The Mugen Academy began to disintegrate. Outside, the the barrier started to expand anyway, and the daimons got closer and closer. Then one bit into Jupiter's chest, and she screamed in pain. Soon everyone was overwhelmed and they were swept up in the strong power of Pharaoh 90.
    Inside, the Holy Grail shattered in the glass cylinder and Sailor moon watched it break. Mistress 9 was laughing at her as Mistress 9 cried, "This way, Pharaoh 90!" Sailor Moon tried to attack the black energy that had appeared with her Spiral Moon Heart Rod, but a large beam came out of the dark energy and struck her, knocking her back. Mistress 9 declared her victory, but then a blast of energy from the arrival came out and headed towards her. Professor Tomoe jumped in the way to save her, and Sailor Moon jumped in front of him and took the full blow. She was severely hurt and collapsed. Tomoe was cradling the still Mistress 9 and he whispered, "Hotaru," and then Mistress 9 replied, "Papa..." Tomoe apologized to Hotaru for all the bad things happening, and how he wanted everything to be the way it was before. Memories flashed by and Professor Tomoe was crying when hotaru asked for his help to break free but he didn't know how. Suddenly, hotaru woke up but then Mistress 9 started to take over. She told her there was no meaning to her existence and for her to die, but Hotaru replied, "No! Never! I have beloved ones!" On Mistress 9's forehead, the black star shattered, and the sign of Saturn appeared underneath it. Then the symbol of Saturn lit up and Mistress 9 disappeared. Uranus and Neptune were shocked, and Uranus said, "The Soldier of Destruction has resurrected..." *Omega Soldier Recovery*
    The faint figure of Sailor Saturn teleported to Mamoru's apartment and mamoru asked who she was. She returned Chibi-usa's heart crystal, and said that everything would be okay now. Luna and Artemis showed up and asked "Saturn? Hotaru-chan?" Then Sailor Saturn vanished as Chibiusa revived and her color returned.. Meanwhile, the Infinity Academy building had exploded, and Pharaoh 90 was exposed and growing quickly. He was just a black orb that was growing in size and Uranus and Neptune were feeling hopeless, and Uranus said that everything they had done was pointless. She asked Sailor Moon if she was satisfied, who was nearby, crying.
    Then someone called, "Sailor Moon..." Sailor Moon looked up to see Sailor Saturn appear. Sailor Saturn thanked her for saving her, and said that she would save the world from the Silence. Sailor Moon got up and tried to go with her, but Sailor Saturn replied that it wouldn't be possible because she wasn't Super Sailor Moon anymore. Saturn explained that, being the Soldier of Destruction, she had the ability to destroy whole worlds, but that she would be destroyed when using this power. Sailor Moon tried to stop her, but then Sailor Saturn held out her glaive and stopped her. Sailor Saturn said, "Good bye," and vanished.
    Sailor Moon started crying again, and yelled out "Hotaru." Then she started screaming, "Crisis, make up!" She kept screaming it, as Uranus and Neptune watched. Then the Inner Senshis's tiaras glowed, who were floating in the destruction of the building, and Uranus' and Neptune's tiaras glowed too. Her heart crystal came out of her body and formed in front of her, and then she yelled out "Crisis Make Up!" one more time. Then she transformed to Super Sailor Moon. Producing butterfly wings, she flew into the sky and penetrated the barrier that was around Pharaoh 90. There was a series of explosions in the barrier, and then Pharaoh 90 exploded. Uranus and Neptune looked up and saw a large amount of butterflies flying overhead. The Inner Senshi, who had collapsed on the ground, saw Super Sailor Moon coming forward with an infant in her arms.

"Sailor Moon." Sailor Saturn's voice floated over to the fallen Sailor Senshis. Sailor Moon looked up to see Sailor Saturn float down and land on a rock.
"Thank you for protecting my body." Sailor Saturn looked on the three injured Sailor Senshi.
"Sailor Saturn." breathed a battered and bruised Sailor Neptune. Sailor Uranus could only look at her in shock.
"Hotaru-chan?" asked an amazed Sailor Moon.
"Hotaru..." Professor Tomoe struggled to see his daughter.
"I'm no longer Hotaru. I'm the only person who could save the world from the Silence." explained Saturn.
"Matte! I'm come with you!" Sailor Moon struggled to get on her feet.
"Iie. The only way to destroy Pharaoh 90 is to go into the center and destroy everything. You don't have enough power since Pharaoh 90 is using the Sacred Cup unless you're Super Sailor Moon." went on Saturn.
This news dawned on Sailor Moon causing her to ask, "What will happen to you after you destroy Pharaoh 90?"
"The reason why I'm the sacrificing soldier is because I've received the power to destroy. But when the times comes to destroy..," Sailor Saturn summons her Silence Glaive, "I, myself.." trailing off.
"Dame!" screamed Sailor Moon and she tried to run towards Sailor Saturn to stop her but Saturn uses her glaive to stop Sailor Moon from coming closer. Saturn has made her choice or the choice has been made for her.
"Sayonara" Saturn gave her final farewell before jumping into the battle against Pharaoh 90.

    The last two episodes showed Super sailor Moon holding the infant and suddenly Neptune and uranus ran forward and took the infant and disappeared as the other Senshis came forward to help Sailor Moon. Later, Chibiusa woke up and Chibiusa was all confused and wondering where Hotaru was because Hotaru visited her in a dream as Sailor Saturn. The girls couldn't say but they told her she was ok somewhere. They searched for haruka, Michiru and Setsuna but they all disappeared. On a field trip to the park, Chibiusa rides on a  bus and we see Haruka's yellow convertible outside a restaurant. Inside haruka and Michiru were eating and Michiru was feeding the baby from a  bottle. haruka said they make such a good couple and Michiru asks her "What's wrong with wanting a normal life?" Haruka answers nothing and said they'll have to bring the baby back. Michiru feels bad because she already grew attached to the child. haruka drove Michiru and the baby to Oharaja Hospital nad the nurse takes the child to see...Professor Tomoe. Professor tomoe welcomes back his daughter and Haruka is told by a doctor that Professor Tomoe will alway lose some parts of his memory from the head trauma he suffered. He was also suffering from a  broken leg and many bruises.
    Later Chibiusa was riding in the park when she lost the same hat by the wind. She chases it up a hill and sees Sailor Pluto or a vision of her and Sailor Pluto explains to Chibi-usa that Hotaru is actually that infant that Super Sailor Moon was holding. She was reborn and now is living her life over again. Afterwards, Chibiusa felt better and walked down when she sees Professor Tomoe in a wheelchair holding out her hat. Chibiusa was also surprised to see the infant in his arms. She took back her hat and Hotaru waved and reached out for Chibiusa, almost falling out of Tomoe's lap but Tomoe kept her back. Chibiusa asked her name and Professor Tomoe replied lovingly, "Hotaru." Chibiusa smiled and wished them both well when a nurse called Professor Tomoe back inside. Chibiusa watched them leave and vowed "Someday we'll meet again and become friends but until then, be happy."
    The other girls were searching the destroyed Academy area for clues when Michiru and Haruka appeared. They were very mean and said sailor Moon risked everything by giving Mistress 9 the chalice. The others girls defended Usagi but Haruka and Neptune transformed and challenged Usagi. Usagi accepted since she had no choice and transformed into Sailor Moon. They fought and Neptune and Uranus almost got Sailor Moon but Sailor Moon flared up in power and became Super Sailor Moon for a split second and jumped out of the way so Neptune and Uranus ended up running into each other. Sailor Moon turned around to fight but Neptune and Uranus was kneeling before calling her the true Messiah.
    Their mission was complete since they found the rightful Messiah and they leave in Haruka's car as the memories of their battles plays.
    The very last episode Neo-Queen Serenity sends another letter into the past asking for Chibi-usa to return home. Chibi-usa was actually sad to go. But the girls thought that she would want to go, so they pretended that they were happy for her and threw her a going away party. Chibiusa became depressed even more because now she thought the girls were trying to get rid of her. She left and the Senshis got a report of another daimon that lived. They were fighting when suddenly Chibiusa reappeared with another letter saying that it was okay if she stayed longer an she helped destroy the daimon. Usagi was very relieved and happy that Chibiusa stayed.
