While Goku and Gohan continued to train I went through the little reading library that
Mr. Popo had. I didn’t remember that from the series or the bathroom but then again
those things just go without saying- of course they exist.
I sat down flipping through a starsign book and I read over it In the southern
hemisphere my element was fire and in the north it was earth.
‘So I was wrong about my powers or am I?’ I asked myself in thought being as
I was in the north hemisphere of this world.
I flipped the page and I felt a shadow loom over me and I looked at Goku. He looked
pretty grubby and he had a soot color to him. I smirked.
“Need a hand?” I asked teasingly.
“I’ve got to clean up and this will take a while I want you to train with Gohan.” Goku
said. I put a book mark in my page and I nodded.
“Okay.” I replied and walked out to find Gohan standing there in super saiyan
mode.
“Hi Lee!” He smiled.
I ruffled his hair. “Hey you know you look good as a blonde.”
Gohan beamed brightly. “Dad and I are training to be super saiyans all the time.”
I nodded. “Well I know if you two can pull that off.” I said.
“So you’re not going to try?” Gohan asked.
I looked at him. “Think that would intimidate Yamcha too much. Me walking round
as a super saiyan in his apartment.”
Gohan smiled. “Oh it’s just until we defeat Cell it saves on time powering up. Plus
dad thinks that it would make it easier reaching the next level.”
“Well your dad’s right.” I smiled at Gohan. “your dad sent me out here to train with
you while he um cleans himself off.”
Gohan rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “Yeah I kind of blew up the
ham.”
I smiled and I powered up to super saiyan and I looked at Gohan.
“You ready Gohan?”
“Yeah!” he replied enthusiastically and we flew out in to the void to train away from
the main part of the chamber so we didn’t cause any damage to it.
It was amazing the strength I gained in training int he time chamber for a year and
like Gohan and Goku I did learn to sustain being a super saiyan. I though unlike them
didn’t feel comfortable with it. Especially when I knew what Vegeta’s reaction would
be to the amount of power we gained in the training.
The time came round to leave the chamber and I was extremely glad to get back to
the normal world. And we left early as Goku’s stomach usually takes over.
Wandering out I hung back behind Gohan and Goku. I ran a hand through my hair it
was so long after a year from the usual collar bone length it was hanging down at my
mid back. I saw the group of them look at is. I was the only super saiyan who had my
hair tied back. Trunks had been given a hair cut. He looked at us. They all did.
I let out a breath of relief. Part of me was glad that I wasn’t going or had gone crazy
in there. I made a mental note to thank Iris for bringing my discman to me I had
memorised all the songs I could from the two albums but part of myself felt that I
wouldn’t get to pull the same move on Cell again and for some reason I could feel
him out there in his complete form.
Goku and Gohan got their food to eat and I watched as Trunks on the other side of the
blanket watched in awe of their eating capabilities. I sat there next to Goku kind of
staring off in to space when Gohan looked over at me. “Lee aren’t you hungry?”
“I’ll eat later, when I make sure Alethea’s okay.” I replied.
Trunks looked at me. “Well Iris is staying at Capsule Corp with your brother and your
cousin. Alethea is with them.” He replied.
I nodded. “I’ll head there then.”
I went to stand up but Goku put a plate in front of me. “Lee eat something it’s been a
while since you’ve eaten.” He said.
I noticed Tien, Piccolo, Trunks, Mr Popo and Gohan all look at me. I stayed sitting
and I picked up the plate and took the chopsticks and began to eat what was in the
bowl avoiding the bits of pork. it’d been over five years since I touched the stuff and
it’d been over ten since I touched fish. So I just ate the rice.
After eating Trunks explained about the tournament and it was split up between the
group of them who was going to use the chamber next. Goku announcing to
everyone’s surprise that him and Gohan weren’t going back in. I stayed quiet and I
saw the others look at me. I looked down I still felt bad inside for what had happened
with me and Goku inside the chamber. He looked at me and put a hand on my
shoulder.
“Lee won’t go in there either. I think you need to spend some quality time with your
family. Like I plan to.” Goku said.
I nodded. “Yeah.” I agreed. I stood up. “Meet you guys in a few days then.” I then
powered up and took off flying back to Capsule Corp. I think they were confused by
my actions of being distant.
Landing on the lawn I stood there looking at the size of Capsule Corp. I walked up to
the door and it opened before I could open it. Mrs. Briefs smiled at me.
“Oh welcome back Alethea is in the play pen with Trunks.” She smiled behind those
shut eyes. I nodded and I walked in.
“Can I interest you in some juice Leona?” She asked.
I nodded. “Yes please that would be nice.”
She smiled and walked off I walked up to the play pen and I looked at Trunks and
Alethea in the play pen each in their own corners their arms cross and their backs
facing towards each other. “Hey you two crazy kids.” I said.
Alethea looked at me and she beamed an excited smile. I picked her up and took her
in my arms it was hard for me to believe that this animated child was my own and I
had carried her for nine months and in all typical animated reality lost the weight in a
matter of a month. Alethea cuddled in to me and I smiled at her. She was my child
and nothing could take that away. She wore a little beanie with the capsule corp logo
on it and I wondered where the beanie had come from. As far as I knew there was no
such fashion in this world unless Neil had somehow created it.
I looked round for Neil and Matariki’s power levels. But the place was completely
empty of power levels. I looked down at Alethea and Mrs. Briefs brought in my juice
and I smiled at her and balanced Alethea on one arm and with t eh other I used
stretched it out and grabbed the juice with my hand and downed it quickly and put it
back on the tray.
“Thanks.” I smiled.
“Oh that’s no problem. If you’re looking for Yamcha he’s gone back to his apartment
I told him I’d send you that way.” She smiled.
I nodded. “Thanks again.”
“Oh and your friend took your brother and cousin to Master Roshi’s to watch the
updates on the Cell games to see who else is entering.” She added.
“So Hercule has already made it clear huh?” I asked.
“Oh yeah but no need to worry I’m sure Goku will fight Cell first before anyone can
get hurt.” She said with such confidence.
I nodded. “Okay well I’m off to see Yamcha if my family drops by tell them I’ll meet
up with them tomorrow.” I said.
“Oh sure thing.” She waved as I left with Alethea in my arms.
I pulled the capsule corp jacket off and wrapped it round Alethea and I powered up
and took off flying to Yamcha’s apartment.
I landed on the balcony about half an hour later and looked at Alethea her little tail
hanging out of the jacket and I tapped on the ranch slider’s glass. I saw Yamcha come
out of his kitchen and he looked at me and he opened the door I smiled at him. He
took me in his arms and we shared a kiss.
“I can see you’re stronger.” He said and ran his hand through my golden hair.
“I can power down if you want to but it was Goku’s idea to wander round as a super
saiyan” I said. Yamcha took Alethea from me and he walked inside and I
followed.
I’d never seen his apartment look so messy. I guess he got used to me cleaning up
when I had been living with him. I followed him to the spare room and I blinked as I
saw a whole nursery layout for Alethea and a crib with a mobile hanging above
it.
My hand flew to my mouth and I looked at him.
“Yamcha you didn’t have to do this!”
He put Alethea in the crib and she looked at the two of us then at the large soft cuddly
bear in the crib and she grabbed on to it’s paw and it squeaked she giggled delighted
and clapped her hands. She looked up at the mobile and reached up for it. She was
fully entertained. I was still dealing with the shock of Yamcha making one of his
rooms of his “bachelor” pad in to a nursery.
“Well I really thought about Lee while you were off chasing Cell and then training
with Goku and Gohan. I thought this would be a good surprise.”
“It is!” I hugged him and he smiled.
Inside I felt so bad about what had happened that I couldn’t tell Yamcha. Well I could
of but I didn’t get much time to he had a baseball game to attend. There were still
some humans out there that had the intelligence that there was no getting off “the
world” and that Cell would destroy the entire planet if the heroes lost.
His watch beeped and I looked at him. “I have a game Lee it’s the last game to be
played a championship. I know you’re not much of a sport fan so I don’t mind if don’t
want to come. But there’s live coverage if you want to watch it on the
television.”
I didn’t want to say no but I had to have time to gather my thoughts. I think Yamcha
sensed this he knew after all not everyone who left the time chamber was expected to
be fully sane. So with a kiss and a hug he left me in his apartment.
After he’d gone. I felt the massive guilt trip ever come over me and I sat down on his
padded bench press bench and I looked at his weights. Most of them were broken but
that was Yamcha he may of been weak but still earth’s strongest to destroy gym
equipment. There was seven odd days left till the tournament and Yamcha was
treating it fairly normally like everything was going to be okay.
“Does he have that much confidence in Goku?” I asked myself.
I walked round the apartment cleaning up the mess I placed one of my CD’s in to his
stereo and played it as I ran a vacuum over the floor.
After cleaning up I put the vacuum away and I went to check on Alethea she was
curled up in my jacket still and she was using it as a blanket I grabbed a baby blanket
and I put it over her and tucked her in. She let out a contented sigh. She was using the
bear as a pillow and I smiled she looked so cute. I ran a finger down the side of her
face and I smiled. I left the room in a better mood.
I wandered round the lounge trying to find something to do and I put the television on
and kept it on mute while listening to my music. I sat down on the couch and watched
the titans as they were batting. Baseball was one of those sports that I just didn’t
understand. So I found it easier to watch rather than listen to. I watched for Yamcha
and he came up to the plate, he looked good in the yellow uniform. I watched him
swing at the ball and he clobbered the ball all the way across the park and in to the
home run section in which him and three other players returned back to home giving
the team the lead. I heard a breeze shake the window lightly and I looked over and I
walked up to the ranch slider doors and I opened them letting the cool air hit my skin
I looked out to see the entire city had fallen in to darkness it wasn’t anything bad it
was just night time. Something ya didn’t see much on the show. I walked up to the
railing and I looked over and saw several people running out of town and I looked
down the street. To see some tanks coming through town and I blinked.
“Oh so the royal military think they can stop Cell.” I watched as the tanks rolled past
and I entered the apartment again to see the game was over and that the titans had
won. I flicked the television off and slumped down in the corner.
I picked up my yellow bag and I pulled out the photo from my General’s Daughter
novel of me Chhaya, Iris and Merryln together sitting on a picnic table in Spencer
Park in Christchurch the sun setting behind us making the sky beautiful shades of
yellow and orange mixed with fluffy white clouds. I touched the smiling face of
Chhaya in the photo. She was family and I missed being myself round her.
“I wish I could of done more to save you.” I leant back up against the wall and I think
I drifted off there listening to my music coming from the stereo.
Don’t look back, the time has come
all the pain turns in to love
we’re not submissive, we’re not aggressive
but they think we can’t defend
Stand up, join us MODERN CRUSADERS ALIVE
We have the power to face the future
cause we are the fighters fighting just for our rights
They’re accusing, like always without knowing
what is just fiction or what is the truth
they have no mission, they have no passion
but they dare to tell us what’s bad and what’s good
Stand up, join us MODERN CRUSADERS ALIVE
We have the power to face the future
cause we are the fighters fighting just for our rights
stand up, join us MODERN CRUSADERS ALIVE
I was woken up by a gentle shake and I opened my eyes tiredly and looked up at
Yamcha he looked at me he sat down next to me and I looked down at the photo in
the dark. Yamcha looked at the photo. “You miss your friends huh?”
I nodded. “I miss Chhaya. There was nothing to worry about when she was around ya
know. She was just crazy and I could be myself round her. Here I get looked at
weirdly. With her it’s two of us so they don’t tend to look as much.”
“What about Iris?” he asked.
“Well Chhaya and I were both born under a wanning moon in Capricorn.” I
explained. “Iris was born under a waxing moon of Pisces” I added.
“Huh?”
“Luna magick it is said that men rule under the sun and the woman rule under the
moon. It’s a witchy thing. So it explains why I’m such a night a night person. Both me
and Chhaya share that. She may of been older and more intelligent than me but she
was my best friend and like a sister to me. we were alot alike she loved art as much as
I did. Both her and I wanted to grow up to be lawyers. Influenced by one uncle on our
mother’s side who already had a successful law business. We were almost like two
sides of the same person except we still had our differences that didn’t drive each
other nutty.” I explained. I sighed and I let Yamcha help me up.
“I wish I knew what to say. But all I know is that death isn’t easy to cope with”
Yamcha said. “I think you need to rest for a bit to get your mind off it.”
I knew he was partly right and he lead me to his room and he shut the door only
slightly so we could hear Alethea just in case.
I looked round his bedroom. It had been a while since I’d been in his room of his
apartment. In fact the last time was when Alethea was conceived. He had shifted
furniture about since then. I walked up to the full length mirror at the foot of his bed
and I ran my hand along it the frame work was pretty in wood. It reminded me of
some tiki artwork that we had back in new zealand.
“You know to the Chinese mirrors at the base of the bed aren’t considered good luck
in a relation-” I stopped and looked at Yamcha. “-ship.” I finished.
“Why not?” He asked as he picked it up and moved it up against the wall.
“Well they say they while a couple are- um... ya know that if they can see their
reflection in the mirror then the love is caught in limited space and it isn’t spread out
through out the room.” I explained and rubbed the back of my neck.
Yamcha smiled at me. “Where’d you hear something silly like that?” he asked.
I arched an eyebrow. “Hey hey I’m part Chinese pal don’t go dissing.”
“Sorry. It’s just ya know sounds pretty corny.”
“Well for your information I heard it mentioned on ‘The Joy Luck Club’.”
“Joy luck club?” Yamcha questioned.
I smiled. “Well it’s this movie produced by Oliver Stone.”
I saw Yamcha chuckle at me. “You believe everything you hear in movies?”
“Well no it’s just for some reason it made sense to me. Like also there’s another
Urban Legend that you can’t have the base of your bed facing the door because it’s
believed demons can enter your room and drag you out by your feet.” I
explained.
I looked up at Yamcha as he hoovered over me and he wrapped his arms round
me.
“Who told you that one?” He asked.
“Chhaya did.” I replied with a sigh and rested my head up against his chest.
I felt his hand slip through my hair. He looked down at me and I felt him lean down
and kiss me on the top of the head I looked up and our lips met in a kiss.
I had that needy feeling inside of me. The one where I just wanted to feel loved and
needed and that it wasn’t my fault Chhaya had died.
Yamcha’s hand touched the side of my face as we kissed and it ran down to my to my
shoulder and down my arm. My sensed were tracking the movement of his hand. And
for some reason I felt wanted. Always with Goku it was that saiyan lust. But with
Yamcha it was that human want. The part of me I could control. The human part.
Slowly I felt myself drop out of super saiyan and Yamcha’s hand reached the base of
my shirt or actually Bulma’s shirt that I happened to be wearing and he lifted it up
and off me tossing it to the side. Our lips meet again as his hand slowly undid the
trousers I wore yet again Bulma’s clothes and he let them drop to my ankles before
picking me up and scooping me on to the bed. My hands moved up to his baseball
shirt and I began to undo the buttons without even looking and then I pulled the shirt
off him throwing it to the side My hand touched the white fabric of the tank top and I
pull it up and we parted from the kiss as I pulled it up and off him then tossed it to the
side and I looked up at him as he hoovered over me. He held me in an embrace and I
felt his arm slide round the small of my back and hold me up slighty his lips trailing
down my neck. My head rolled back and my eyes closed. Here I was probably at that
stage the strongest saiyan on the planet and I was letting myself be controlled by
someone weaker than me. Though in a way he was also stronger. He had a stronger
heart than mine. And it was bigger. But for a moment I felt I was learning from
him.
I was scooped up on to his lap as he held me in the most loving embrace ever. Sure
we had done the sex thing before but not with this much emotion involved. I looked at
him and his lips meet mine again, my hand touched the side of his neck part of me
tempted to bite him, claim him for my own, but part of me feeling that I could
possibly scare him by doing so also. his hand ran across the back of my skin and it ran
over the back of the black lace bra I wore. My underwear the only thing that I was
wearing from my own clothes. My hand ran down his chest to the yellow pants of his
baseball uniform. Of which he suited very nicely if I may say so myself. I heard an
almost animalistic groan come from the back of his throat. I tugged at the pants and
he moved me back and on to the bed and he stripped them off and leaning down his
lips touched mine ever so gently. I kissed him back feeling the strange sense of both
our power levels rise. Like we were powering up for a battle it was something I hadn’t
felt since I had first been with Goku, when I had felt love in my heart. Now here I was
feeling it again. The first time in a long time.
With a flick of his thumb I felt the bra unclasp and Yamcha’s hand moved up and
removed the straps from my shoulders and let them slide down my arms and fall on to
the bed covers beside us. Yamcha looked at the bra then he looks at me. His lips
move back in to position of the most loving kisses I’ve ever felt. As his hand moved
up to the swelling mounds of my breasts and the other hand moving down to the black
lacy matching underwear. With a tug at the front I felt myself lift up slightly off the
bed as he pulled them off. Tossing them to the side his lips never left mine to see
where they landed. I felt my hands runs down to his boxers and my hand ran along the
rim of them and he smiled at me.
“Somebody’s eager.” He whispered in my ear.
“and this coming from the mouth of the person who stripped me...” I teased back.
I nipped at his ear and ran my teeth along it. I felt his hand guide mine down and
under the boxers.
Since I had meet Yamcha he seemed to of gotten bolder and bolder. There was no
stammering anymore there was not as much blushing and he seemed so much more
confidante in himself. Most of the time he had been a nervous wreck for the
upcoming battles. For Frieza then for the androids and now it was Cell yet he didn’t
look a bit worried.
I felt my hand run along the tip of some foreign material and I looked at Yamcha
quizzical to what it could be. He smirked at me and whispered in my ear.
“Jockstrap... for my protection.”
I chuckled lightly. “Tease.” I retorted.
“Hey I only just got back from a winning game I haven’t even had time for a shower
yet.” He said.
“Was that an invitation?” I asked.
He smiled at me and kissed me I leant back as he got up and I watched him remove
the boxers and jockstrap and he moved back down on to the bed hoovering over
me.
“An invitation for later. If you think you can keep up.” He replied and kissed me.
His hands moved up and down my arms and he slowly ran his tongue down the center
line of my body and I strained feeling it at first till it became a turn on as his tongue
reached my sensitive core and I felt the sudden probing and I arched my back. Most
guys in the normal world of New Zealand were to afraid to try it. To give or receive
as the American’s call it... head. I felt Yamcha slowly make his way back up
and he kissed me again and his hands interlocked with mine and slowly he raised
them up above my head holding them there I looked at him. I had no idea what he
was up to but I trusted him completely. Then I felt the tip of him rub up against my
core and I rested back and felt the entrance with a quick and hard thrust. I gasped and
my hands clutched his tightly. Remembering my doctor’s advice on my
‘problem’ After tensing up I relaxed and let Yamcha lead and be the one. I
felt the power rising and dropping as the thrusting began my insides pulsing feeling
the power. It was such a witchy thing going on. That sex was one of the most
‘natural’ ways to gain access to power.
The power between us just growing and growing I was sure that on the look out those
who were still there would feel it. We just kept going and going until we exploded in
a brilliant blaze of energy together it was an odd way and an odd power merger. But it
was just right for the two of us, the light shining from the power it lit up the entire
room so much we could see each other’s faces in the dark and I kissed him on the lips
and he kissed me back we were silent for a long while. But that’s when you know
you’re in love when you don’t have to say anything to other person at all.
When I woke up in the morning I looked up my head resting on Yamcha’s bare chest.
There was a knock at the door which woke me up and I sat up and locked on to the
power level I picked it up to be Goku’s and I got up and looked round from something
to throw on. I grabbed Yamcha’s baseball shirt being the closes and I put it on and did
up the buttons and jogged to the main door as I heard another knock.
I opened the door and Goku looked at me. He blinked surprised seeing me wearing
only Yamcha’s baseball shirt and it was just covering enough.
“Lee the Royal Military has all been killed trying to stop Cell.” He said.
I looked over to the clock. It was round about 1 pm My hand flew to my mouth.
“Oh Geez that’s right we we’re suppose to all show up at Master Roshi’s weren’t
we?!” I exclaimed.
Goku looked at me. “I have an idea I’m going to get a Namek to hopefully be the new
guardian of earth but the problem is I left Gohan, Chi-chi and Krillen in the car
together. Now I need you to get Yamcha out there to drive them to Master Roshi’s.”
I nodded. “Um sure I’ll wake him.” I said.
Goku looked at me. I looked down a bit flustered. “Hey it’s okay. You have a new life
Lee and so long as you’re happy.” He said.
I looked at Goku. “I am. But I saw the tanks heading out there last night. I could of
blocked them off but I didn’t think of it. Even though I knew they were going to their
doom.” I said quietly.
The sound of squeaking was then heard and I looked over my shoulder.
“Lee it’s not your fault you can’t prevent everything. I just need you to do that for my
family.” He said.
The squeaking continued and Goku looked in to Yamcha’s apartment.
“What is that?” He asked.
I smiled. “Alethea’s new toy. Yamcha got it for her.” I replied.
I heard footsteps then a happy giggle come from Alethea. I looked over as Yamcha
came out he was wearing his baseball trousers and carrying Alethea who was holding
on to the bear squeezing the paw making it squeak.
“Oh hey Goku. What brings you here?” Yamcha asked.
I felt a wee bit nervous. Yamcha knew about me and Goku on Yardrat but still he
treated Goku like his closest friend. I guess forgive and forget is common in their
world and maybe it had to do with the fact that he was still with Bulma at the time I
was with Goku.
“Hey Yamcha.” Goku smiled as he saw Alethea and she looked at him and held the
bear up in front of herself and squeezed the paw several times so it continued to
squeak. My guess she thought the squeak might scare him away. Maybe she picked up
on the me and Goku vibes still there between us and saw him as a threat I really don’t
know. Children’s ‘powers’ are a mystery. But there was no way I was going to let any
schooling hinder my daughter’s powers and witch like abilities.
“Actually I need you to drive Chi-chi, Gohan and Krillen to Master Roshi’s I’ve got to
go find a new guardian for earth. I’ll explain the rest later when I get there
okay?”
Yamcha nodded. “Uh sure Goku. Anything you want man.”
“Thanks. Sorry if I interrupted you two. Well I better get going.” He waved then
placed two fingers to is forehead and he was gone two seconds later.
I shut the door and Yamcha walked up to me.
“Shower?” he asked and smiled.
I smiled back and gave him a playful push.
Yamcha did as Goku asked and we found Chi-chi, Krillen and Gohan in his car in an
abandoned town. We landed on the ground and Chi-chi stepped out of the car and she
looked at us. Krillen stuck his head out the window.
I was holding Alethea in my arms, wrapped up in a jacket.
“Hey you two what are you doing way out here?” Krillen asked.
“Well Goku dropped by and he asked us to come and get you while he goes to find a
new guardian for the earth.” Yamcha explained.
“And Yamcha will drive you cause I don’t have my license.” I said and grinned.
Yamcha looked at me. “You know after this is over I’m going to make sure you
do.”
I looked back at him. “Oh no no no me and cars don’t mix. At least not very well you
see cars go faster than humans and *SMACK* that happens.” I emphasised with a fist
in to the hand. Yamcha looked at me.
“Lee you’re a super saiyan you go faster than cars.” He remarked.
I looked at him realising that in this world I did and I rubbed the back of my neck.
“Oh yeah that’s right.” I replied.
Yamcha motioned everyone to get in the car.
“I think I’ll fly I’m not a car fan.” I said.
Gohan looked at me. “Lee do you have a fear of cars?” he asked.
I shook my head. “Me scared of cars oh no... It’s just that um... there’s no baby seat
for Alethea... yeah so er see you later.” I waved and used instant transmission.
The path of excess
Leads to the tower of wisdom
Try to think about it
That’s the chance to live your life and discover
What it is, what’s the gravity of love
Look around just people, can you hear their voice
Find the one who’ll guide you to the limits of your choice
But if you’re in the eye of storm
Just think of the lonely dove
The experience of survival is the key
To the gravity of love
Once we were all gathered at Master Roshi’s the gang spent most of it inside. I
bounced Alethea on my lap and she grinned quiet happily. I looked at the strange cat
like man on the screen announcing that the royal military had failed in their mission
to destroy Cell. I rolled my eyes.
“Duh. He’s got super human strength, don’t they know military weapons are only
going to damage everything but the bad guy.” I remarked.
Yamcha looked at me surprised. “So you’re saying that you have no sympathy for
those people who lost their lives?” He asked.
I shook my head. “No it’s bad that they lost their lives. But I’m just saying this ‘attack
the earth’ thing is normal you think they would learn that by now. But everything will
be okay. Goku will make sure of that.”
Yamcha nodded and we watched as an annoying announcer came on television and
announced the world champion was going to fight in the tournament.
“Hercule, Hercule, Hercule.” The crowds were chanting on television.
I frowned and looked at Yamcha, he had his elbow resting on the table and looked
bored. I looked over to Krillen who looked even more bored his arms crossed and his
head resting on them. Gohan held the small tea cup in is hand and he took a sip.
Master Roshi and Chi-chi walked up to the back of the couch, where I sat next to
Gohan. Alethea looked over her shoulder at the television and she pointed her finger
at it and laughed. I nodded.
“Yes that’s right sweetie laugh at him cause he’s going to be embarrassed on world
wide tv.” I smiled. Yamcha and Krillen looked at me.
“What’s with the goofball?” Master Roshi asked.
“He’s the world champion of martial arts.” Yamcha replied sounding bored.
“Martial arts?” I asked. “and I mistook him for wrestling.”
Krillen looked at me. “When was that?”
I thought for a moment. “Um oh geez that was when Vegeta was going through his
stalk me stage.” I replied and nodded. We all looked back to the tv.
I think I tuned out for a moment as Hercule went through his ‘crush him with my little
finger’ routine. Then his whole ‘yell if you love me’ egotisitcal boost.
Matariki ran in to the room and she smiled at me. “Can I take Alethea outside?”
I looked at her and I nodded. “Okay just don’t let her get burnt. And make sure Iris is
within your sight.” I said.
“Kay!” Matariki grinned and I handed Alethea over to her and she took her and
walked outside as Neil was walking inside. He looked to the television.
“Heh he’ll get his ass kicked.” He remarked.
“Ya don’t need to tell us that.” Krillen remarked sounding bored.
We all looked to the television. “Hercule, Hercule, Hercule...”
“Man that guy’s a real moron.” Krillen sighed.
Goku then instant transmissioned in to the room next to Neil.
Neil jumped out of the way as Chi-chi marched right up to him.
“Now where on earth have you been Goku? DO YOU THINK I KNOW HOW TO
DRIVE?!?!” Chi-chi exploded grabbing him by the collar and shaking him back and
forward almost like he was a rag doll.
It was amazing her strength and ability to control one of Earth’s strongest. I was just
glad I stayed on her good side and didn’t mention anything of the Yardrat
situation.
“Uuummm I’m sorry Chi-chi but if I could just talk to Krillen and Gohan for a minute
there’s someone at the look out who’d like to see them.” Goku replied.
Gohan jumped up excitedly. “Who is it dad?” He asked.
I looked to Krillen and he looked back at me then to Goku.
“Is this person... um...” He gulped and then added. “Friendly?”
Goku chuckled. “Ahhh c’mon.” He remarked.
Krillen stood up and Goku nodded at them. They grabbed on to him and he instant
transmissioned them out of there.
I flopped back on the couch and Neil jumped over it and sat next to me.
“Say you don’t happen to have any money?” He asked me.
I frowned and looked at Neil. “Get a job.” I grumbled.
“Well I would but ya know world ending and all no one’s paying good money.” He
replied and stuck his hand out to me giving me one of his ‘gimmie money’ grins.
I ignored him for a moment looking to the television. The whole declaration of the
Cell games was going on. Seven days isn’t very long to train in to defeat Cell. So
what could one do? Wait it out and train. Not that we needed it. It was all going to be
up to Gohan in the end. I looked up to the ceiling and my hand touched my stomach
where I felt the pain from my vision of my death. Chhaya’s powers were so useful
freezing time would of been handy to have. Or maybe Iris’ telekentic powers. Me
what did I have? Earthquakes. Great considering most of the battle would be fought in
the air. I knew Goku had no plan to defeat Cell.
I looked over at Neil as he looked at me.
“C’mon please?” He begged.
I sighed and pulled out my wallet and handed him a twenty dollar bill.
“Go ahead knock yourself out. Get a movie or something out. Just don’t ask me for
any more money.” I replied.
“Sweet.” He ran out of the door faster than anything and I watched him take off in to
the skies and I frowned.
“Who on earth taught him how to fly?” I asked scratching my head.
“Oh that would of been Krillen, he taught your friend and cousin too.” Master Roshi
replied. He then walked on outside with a magazine tucked under his arm.
Chi-chi let out a sigh. “I can’t believe he left me here. That man.” She growled in
frustration and walked off obviously to let some steam out.
