Storm
Hercule lay on the ground holding his mouth and grunting in pain.
“Hmph. Look he survived. I guess Cell didn’t want to waste any energy on that
weakling.” Piccolo remarked.
Cell then turned round and he looked to the group of us. And I blinked I guess
suddenly the realisation sunk in. It was only going to be a matter of a few hours
before that final blast would come from Cell to finish me off. Goofballs aside this was
it. I felt Yamcha grab my hand and he looked at me.
“Lee I can sense something’s wrong what is it?” He asked.
I looked at him. “I don’t know for once...”
“So lets get the tournament underway. Who will be first? Will it be Goku to start
things off?” Cell questioned.
There was a sudden breeze in the air and I looked over as Goku smiling like he was
going to enjoy himself stepped up on to the ring. “Lets do it.”
There was such a strong tension in the air as Goku entered the ring I felt like running
in there with a giant knife just to make a point of cutting it. But I refrained myself-
beside there was no giant knives round near by.
Goku and Cell got in to their stances ready to fight. I looked at Cell wondering what
techniques of mine did he have programmed in to him.
“Man I’m so curious to see what Cell can do.” I remarked.
Yamcha just merely nodded.
It was then our attention was grabbed momentarily as Hercule wandered over to his
little ‘group’ I raised an eyebrow. “Great he still has the use of his mouth.” I
grumbled as he exclaimed that he had lost his footing.
The whole announcing that he was going to go back in the ring after he’d laced his
boots made me look at Yamcha.
I rubbed my temples as that stupid ‘Hercule Rules’ chanting came from the
group.
“That guy is giving me the most massive migraine.” I kept rubbing my temples.
Vegeta blinked and he looked over. “That ridiculous man hasn’t realised his
weakness. His stupidity is beyond belief.”
I looked over at Hercule laughing pretty much insanely.
“I shoulda brought some panadol with me.” I sighed looking down and let out one of
those anime cloud breaths. “Or a shot gun.” I added and looked over at Hercule.
Everyone else was now focused on Goku and Cell in the ring though.
The announcer was talking to Hercule about Goku and in their opinion what would
happen. I straightened up and crossed my arms. “Time for a prediction.” I
mumbled.
Yamcha looked at me quickly. “You’ve had another vision?”
“Oh no I predict that the ring will be too small for them to fight in so when time
comes round I suggest we shift to higher ground.” I nodded.
Piccolo merely nodded. From what I had researched about the dragonball series was
that was how Piccolo and Goku’s match had ended up.
“I got feeling you’re right Leona.” Piccolo agreed.
I looked to Yamcha who was looking to the ring seriously.
“Goku is just awesome.” He said.
“His form it’s flawless.” Tien added.
“Just look at him, he’s standing right in front of Cell like it’s just another day at the
beach.” Krillen remarked.
“Yeah it would almost appear that he’s enjoying the moment.” Piccolo added.
“With all this new control as a super saiyan he’s by far the best chance this planet
has.” Trunks said staring in to the ring.
Vegeta looked over past Trunks and at Gohan. I think even Vegeta knew partly that
Gohan was the better chance. Vegeta then looked straight ahead to Goku in the ring.
They were taking they’re sweet time starting the match up. I wasn’t worried though.
The longer they took the longer I felt I had left to live.
“Ding.” Cell suddenly said and Goku charged forward.
The match started and suddenly everyone’s eyes were on them...
‘Wow. Not bad for a warm up.’ I thought to myself watching them in person
was amazing it was so fast. But I was following them with my eyes not sensing them
out like the other Z fighters did. But at this speed I could follow them. I think
everyone could. It was further on that would be killer on the eyes.
They zipped and flipped punched and kicked around the area of the ring. Until they
stopped for a moment as if just for the viewers.
‘Goku’s just loving this.’ I thought.
Then Goku smirked at Cell and Cell smirked back.
“There strength appears to be equal.” Sixteen commented.
I looked at the android and I looked to the ring it appeared that way but that didn’t
mean anything. I know I’d seen the Cell game episodes.
“And so far it looks like neither of them are short of breath.” Yamcha added.
As the fight continued I sat down on the ground casually and stretched my legs out.
Suddenly the fight speed up and I watched as the other’s watch Goku and Cell fight
they were going so fast. I looked over to see Hercule hiding under the cape.
I sweatdropped as he appeared behind the reporter to announce that he too could pull
off an ‘optical illusion’.
Krillen began laughing and I looked over at Krillen.
“These doorknobs are cracking me up.”
“Krillen.” Gohan scolded.
I smiled at least someone was enjoying the side show along with me.
“I’m sorry.” He apologised.
I looked up to Yamcha who was looking upward to the sky.
“Their speed it’s incredible.” Yamcha remarked.
“I can’t keep up.” Tien agreed.
Goku and Cell phased in and out fists flying at each other and I stood up.
I looked at Vegeta watching them. here was the insert for his little thought of...
‘If you think that’s fast wait until you see me.’
“They’re still too slow though ain’t that right Vegeta.” I remarked.
He just looked back at me and didn’t say anything then looked back to the fight.
‘There’s alot of upper body strength going in to the fight.’ I thought noticing
the fists only flying on occasion there would be a kick or two exchanged but it was
always fists flying back and forward I was suddenly intrigued and I watched the fight
with sudden ease. I looked to the group watching then back to the sky.
It dawned on me that I had the ability to follow them normally with my eyes like it
was nothing. Explaining why I was so jittery and couldn’t stay still. Everything was
just to easy to follow. It explained my super saiyan level two ability.
The fight went everywhere and I realised how bored I was getting. Gohan looked back
at me. I could tell he could tell Goku wasn’t using all of his strength. Gohan then
looked back to the ring. I yawned slightly and Yamcha looked at me.
“Lee?” He questioned.
“Sorry tired. I’m not a morning person ya know.” I replied.
Yamcha arched and eyebrow my way I knew he was suddenly questioning my
strength that if I was yawing while Goku and Cell were battling it out.
Truth had it I was tired. If I don’t move from one spot I usually tend to get tired or
bored easily. I’m one of those types of people that can’t stand staying still.
Suddenly the battle stopped and the announcement of the warm up was over.
Everyone seemed to be in shock except me, Vegeta and Gohan.
“Now.” Goku began and he crossed his arms across his chest and powered up to have
the golden aura flash around him. Mostly everyone was in awe with that energy
except Vegeta of course. It was hard to see if he was in awe of anything.
Yamcha looked at me. “You knew he wasn’t using his full power didn’t you?”
I nodded. “If you thought before was fast wait until you see them now. And trust me
Cell’s gunna get dirty.” I explained.
Yamcha looked to the ring then back at me. “You seem almost bored by this
Lee.”
“Sorry about that. It’s just when I know what’s going to happen it’s like um...
watching a rerun really.” I replied.
“I suppose it would be.” Yamcha said.
‘Too bad I won’t see the end of this rerun.’ I thought to myself.
I saw Goku look over at me like he heard the thought. In truth I knew he heard it. It
was that warrior thought thing happening again.
‘Lee don’t think like that.’ He thought to me.
I saw Gohan look my way. I looked to the side at Yamcha and then back to Gohan
had he heard the thought?
“Lee dad’s looking at you why is that?” Gohan asked.
Vegeta smirked. “Seems Kakarott’s getting distracted. Girl you should of stayed
at-”
“Put a cork in it Vegeta.” I snapped interrupting him.
Vegeta chuckled, he just loved to rile me up or anybody up really.
“Arrogant little mutha-” I grumbled before Yamcha put a hand over my mouth.
“Lower your energy Lee. You’re distracting even Cell.” Yamcha scolded.
I took in a deep breath and let it out. Yamcha removed his hand and I felt myself calm
down. Yamcha looked at me and I looked back and him.
My thoughts travelled to the vision I had. I wanted to know more about Trunks
timeline and how Cell got the knowledge of mirai me and Gohan. I saw Cell looking
at me and I looked behind myself and I saw the small storm cloud in the distance.
“What the-” I began. This was the third time in this world it had appeared.
Yamcha turned round and he saw the cloud. “Lee explain?”
“I got to go! I think it’s Chhaya. Be right back!” I shouted.
I powered up and flew off towards the cloud using my power I pushed it to the cliff
face and I rolled across the ground and looked up as the cloud suddenly formed a
human shape. I sat up as the cloud vanished and I looked at Chhaya.
I blinked in surprise. “What are you doing here?!” I exclaimed. she had taken her
sweet time in revealing herself to us in this world.
Chhaya looked at me sadly. “Lee I need like some material from your clothes and a
lock of your hair.” She said.
“Eh?” I looked at Chhaya.
“The dragonballs can’t bring you back girl there is already a you in this reality not on
this planet but you exist. So therefore the wish won’t be granted. So I found Iris and
we’re going to do a spell what we need though is a lock of your hair and some
material from your clothes.” Chhaya explained.
“So when I die I’m going to stay dead? But dudette you know when you go beyond
getting the dirt of the grave it’s going in to dark magick.” I said worriedly.
“Not in this world.” Chhaya remarked.
I frowned but I grabbed part of the top of was wearing and at the base I ripped a small
part off and handed it to her and then I took some of my hair and yanked it out and
handed it to her. I rubbed my head where it had been pulled from.
Chhaya smiled at me. “Take care dudette.”
She then stepped back and vanished in to the cloud form. “She’s gotten stronger in
this world.” I remarked.
I stayed sitting on the ground and placed my head in my hands. Chhaya had confirmed
I would die and that I couldn’t come back normally like the vision. I crossed my legs
and I stayed put this was the cliff face the others would land on soon enough after
Cell blew up the ring. I decided to stay put they’d arrive there eventually.
I felt cold with the news Chhaya had for me- but Iris was right Chhaya was alive in
this world. I rubbed the side of my head as the largest of large headaches came on. It
usually happens when I miss out on having my intake of caffeine via fizzy drink.
Strange huh? I flopped back on the ground and lay there looking at the sky and I saw
Goku and Cell fighting even higher above me. My eyes followed with ease as they
both fought at their maximum power. I saw Goku notice me suddenly before Cell
gave him and all powerful hit sending him back in to the ring.
“Typical me. The distraction.” I sighed.
Cell floated up to where I was and he looked at me. “You’ve trained with Goku have
you not?” He asked me.
I nodded. “Yeah.” I replied.
“Good. Then when I finish Goku off you will be next to fight me. I want a
challenge.”
I rolled my eyes. “I won’t fight you next. Trust me I can see the future.”
“Well I’m changing it.” Suddenly Cell was knocked forward with a blow from behind
by Goku and he looked at me. I looked at Goku. He looked at me seriously for a
moment- still floating in the air his feet didn’t touch the ground.
“Lee don’t let your visions distract how you feel. Emotions are everything in this
fight. I want you to use them to stay alive.” Goku remarked before jumping back as
Cell rushed forward.
I stayed seated watching them zip back and forward phase in and out as they fought.
The faster Cell got I realised Goku was nearly running out of energy to fight. If Cell
saw me as the next challenger it could very well spell my end but not as I foresaw-
which meant something had changed my vision. This would be the first time a vision
of mine would of changed then. I watched Cell and Goku battle it out back and
forward helpless. I had to make sure Goku would pick Gohan next to fight. I couldn’t
risk going to the second level of super saiyan before Gohan and in front of everybody.
I didn’t want to. I didn’t have the right stamina to continually fight non-stop like
Goku and Cell were. I watched as Cell kept looking my way. I knew in his mind he’d
chosen me as his next challenger. He probably didn’t see anyone else strong enough
worth the challenge.
‘Please let this go properly.’ I thought watching as the fists flew raging back
and forward between them. I watched as they danced and spun round back and
forward in the ring and in the air. The whole fight watching it with my bare eyes it
was simply breath taking. I’d never seen such a display of martial arts ability in
person before.
Then came the hit the one where Goku spun landing ring on the edge of the ring his
arms flailed about for a few seconds before he propelled himself back up in to the
center of the ring then Cell followed and then up in to the air again.
I sat there watching them hoovering in mid air and I knew this was the part where
Cell would make his announcement of ‘you nearly fell out of the ring’ and
destroy the ring in which he had created for the tournament. Talk about a waste of
time.
I jumped to my feet as the golden yellow beam of energy shot out towards the
ring.
“Hey get away from the ring! NOW!” Goku shouted at them.
I stood there watching as everything almost moved in slow-mo. I watched as the ring
exploded and I stood there on the cliff face and I looked round for the group. I knew
they hadn’t been hit. But the smoke was thick as I stared down where the ring had
once been. I looked behind me as the group of them landed on the cliff and Yamcha
looked at me. I looked back as Cell landed on the ground and then Goku there were a
few words exchanged and Goku began stretching.
‘Always with the stretching.’ I thought and smiled.
Then the fireworks began as Goku speed through the desert Cell’s blasts tailing
him.
“Lee you knew about Cell blowing up the ring- Anything else you care to tell us of
that magnitude before it happens?” Yamcha asked.
I looked at him. “Cell can regenerate from just a single Cell- he has to be totally
obliviated before the earth is saved.” I replied.
“Obliviated as in not even a body?” Krillen asked.
“Bingo. No body no way he can regenerate.” I said looking down at the tailing
blasts.
Tien stepped up behind me. “Lee you know what’s going to happen why can’t you
just tell us what we can do to defeat Cell.” He said.
“You’ll know what to do when the time comes round to it. I’m just sorry I won’t be
here to help you guys.” I replied.
Krillen stepped in front of me and he looked up at me. “Lee what on earth do you
mean?” He asked.
“The stupid thing about seeing the future is sometimes you see stuff that you can’t
change- no matter what.” I replied.
I saw Cell from his blasting look up at me and we locked eyes.
Piccolo looked at me then to Cell.
“Looks like Cell thinks this match is over with he’s picked Lee as the next
challenger.” Piccolo remarked.
I looked to Goku speeding through the canyon.
‘C’mon Goku change the future please.’ I thought.
“Get out of there Goku.” Krillen remarked.
I watched as the smoke trailed behind Goku from Cell’s blasts. I felt the stare in the
middle of my back and I looked behind me with out turning round to see Vegeta
staring at me. I had no idea what he was thinking but he didn’t look to happy.
I looked back to see Goku now charging towards Cell in the middle of the those blasts
and he sent out a powerful blast to block all the other ones and the explosion that
followed was so bright I blinked and watched as it cleared and the two of them
grabbed each other’s hands in a grappling hold as the power soared.
The fight raged on and I watched as they zipped here and there again. I looked to the
group watching in awe. Then Goku flew directly upwards and hoovered amongst the
clouds. I smiled this would prove another supposed ‘prediction’ true as Goku
powered up his Kame hame wav... The group watched as he powered up then instant
transmissioned below Cell and blasted his top off in a brilliant erray of light.
Once the light and smoke had cleared Cell’s remainder of his lower body lay on the
ground and I crossed my arms across my chest I was getting so nervous Goku was out
of energy it was obvious he wouldn’t be able to continue much longer. I swallowed.
‘Please let Cell let Goku pick Gohan.’ I thought. I really didn’t want to
jeopardise the timeline of the series. Goku was suppose to die in order for Gohan to
surpass him and be the strongest fighter on the planet. I couldn’t do much more than
watch and hope.
I was remembering Cell ‘picking’ me while he was still fighting Goku. Maybe
he had the prediction vision thing that I had. It made me wonder just because he had
my Cell’s in him. What techniques of mine did he truly know? And how much would
having my Cell’s alter his ability in battle?
We all watched as Cell regenerated himself and I sighed as Yamcha looked at
me.
“You were right.” Yamcha breathed.
I watched as the conversation started between Cell and Goku again.
Piccolo growled in anger. “He just won’t die!” I guess he was as pissed as I was for
having his cells in Cell. I looked down to the battlefield again.
‘Change my future c’mon think... how to get around this.’ I thought
quickly.
Time was so close.
Goku and Cell powered up and the battle continued. It was amazing the rate the two
were still going at yet I knew Goku was slowing down and Piccolo confirmed it for
all.
“Goku was counting on that last attack to finish Cell off. I don’t know how much
longer he’ll be able to keep this up.”
Everyone was looking to the sky where the battle continued.
‘No more predictions. No more visions. Just let this be over with.’ I thought
watching them continue on ragingly.
I should of been at ease seeing as it was so easy to follow them with my eyes. But it
just un-nerved me extremely and I looked at Gohan he was staring up at them. He had
such potential. But part of my mind knew something wasn’t right. Something was
changing from the series and my visions like I had partly wanted- the surprise of not
knowing what was going to happen. But then part of me wanted to know what the
surprise was. We watched as Goku fired rapidly at Cell. He wasn’t letting Cell get an
attack in. Until with one great blast Cell put up a shield around himself typical cheap
move. Goku hoovered there and he looked defeated to me and he slowly landed on
the ground. I could see he was running out of breath.
The conversation between the group passed by my ears as I stood there the moment
was so close. Goku and Cell seemed to be conversing and then Goku powered down
to everyone’s surprise- but my own.
It was then I heard Goku’s words. “It’s over Cell. You win.”
I looked down to the ground and clenched my fists. It was still like the show but what
would happen next. Would Cell let Goku pick Gohan or would he pick himself.
My breath slowed down completely as I watched.
“Goku.” I whispered. “Something’s not right I can feel it. Something’s changed.”
Gohan was looking at Goku with complete and utter shock.
“I give up, I know how strong you are, there’s no point in continuing this fight. I can’t
beat you.” Goku added.
Even Cell looked shocked. I knew he had wanted to finish Goku off. Everyone was so
shocked. I stood there and I saw it in Cell’s face he looked over at us briefly then
back to Goku to see what Goku had in store.
Goku announced that he there was one more person who could fight Cell.
“Well Goku lets see if your choice is the same as mine.” Cell remarked.
‘That wasn’t in the script.’ I thought worriedly.
“Well then Cell just who do you think will give you the challenge? And we’ll see if
it’s the same person I have in mind.” Goku remarked.
The dialogue had changed rapidly. Cell was suppose to scoff about Vegeta, Trunks
and Piccolo being the choices.
“I think you’re girlfriend would be a nice enough choice don’t you? After all even I
can tell she’s surpassed you.” Cell grinned.
I thumped my forehead and I saw Vegeta look at me. “Impossible.”
“Your right Cell Leona is strong but I know someone even stronger.” Goku
replied.
I mentally let out a relieved breath. Dialogue changes were what made me so nervous
in this dimension. But Cell laughed.
“Well then don’t you think since you picked yourself to go first, I should pick who
goes next and when she’s dead then you can pick your planet’s saviour.” Cell
remarked. Goku blinked and he looked over at us.
“Lee why’d he call you dad’s girlfriend?” Gohan asked me.
I looked over at Yamcha and he looked back at me. “Leona you’re not seriously
considering this? You could be murdered out there!”
I looked at Trunks. “In the future Alethea got to have her mother. Looks like in this
world she gets to have her father instead.” I remarked.
Goku looked up at me in shock. “Leona! Wait let me choose.”
Cell grinned. “My choice has accepted. You may step down Goku.”
Goku looked up at me as I jumped off the cliff and landed on the ground next to him.
He looked at me worriedly. “Leona you better live through this.” he said.
I looked at Goku. “I was telling myself the same thing. This is the only way I can
think of changing my vision Goku- and that’s to face it head on.”
Goku nodded. “I understand.” he placed a hand on my shoulder. It was kinda like a
symbol of ‘tag-you’re-it’.
Cell floated down to the ground and Goku lifted up off the ground and up to the cliff
face where he was instantly scolded by his friends. I could hear them they were
obviously upset. I looked up to Yamcha and he looked down at me he was the only
one not yelling at Goku. Our eyes locked and I saw and felt the concern in his
features. I had the feeling of change from the series and I had challenged it head
on.
“Lets see this power of yours Leona my dear. I want to know if it’s worth while. After
all last time we met you held back and this time I hope that you don’t pull the same
trick again.” Cell remarked.
I smirked and powered up instantly to super saiyan.
‘Might as well let the cat out of the bag.’ I thought and moved up even more
and with a large explosion and a flash of golden light I shifted straight past ascended
in to the second level of super saiyan. I felt the power radiating through my body.
‘Becareful Leona.’ I heard Goku’s thought and I looked up at
him.
Cell looked at me. “Now this should make for an interesting fight.”
I looked back at him and nodded. “Should keep you entertained don’t you
mean?”
Cell smirked. “Now I see in person the power that Dr. Gero saw in you and had to
have in me.” He powered up more in a brilliant glow of light.
I clenched my fists and watched Cell carefully and he laughed.
“Oh don’t be a fool Leona- Lady’s first. Show me this new saiyan power.”
“How about I show you a little bit of actual witch power to go along with it?”
Cell chuckled. “Do your worst witch.”
I powered up a small ball of energy and bounced it on the ground.
“From ground to air, from air to ground I bounce my magick round and round, give
me strength give me power, bounce the energy round and round... guardian of north-
element of earth, lend your strength to me...” I threw the ball of energy in to the
ground and it suddenly bounced round me.
‘This has got to be quick invocations only last so long... oh well lets see how he
does against a goddess...’ I thought.
“INVOCATION!!!!! FREJA!!!!!” I shouted.
Cell watched as in a brilliant flash of light a spear appeared in my hand and I charged
at him suddenly ramming the spear directly through him and tearing upwards splitting
his body in half.
You would think I would of learnt my lesson with Norse Gods wouldn’t
you?
I jumped up and sent several blasts down towards Cell’s split body and I held my
hand out in front of myself.
“INVOCATION!!! OYA!!!” I held the spear in hand and threw it down at
Cell as it changed from spear to lightening bolt and the noise of thunder rumbled
through the desert plains.
I mentally hated myself I hadn’t wanted to go super saiyan two in front of everybody
and live on television. I landed on the ground as the smoked cleared and Cell pulled
himself back together. He looked at me and he smiled brightly.
“Oh bravo Leona. Makes me wonder how on earth Seventeen got the better of your in
the future.” Cell grinned and he charged at me and his fists began flying and I blocked
and phased out and returned the attack and he phased out, it went on and one like this.
Travelling across the ground and through the air.
What worried me was when the energy ran out. Sure wiccan energy raising was able
to last twenty four hours and over but after that certian exhaustion. But I knew I had
to get stronger and stronger to defeat Cell I couldn’t do it on my own. I was just
entertainment for him. A ‘possible’ challenge. We fought onwards and Cell
held his hands up in the air and I watched carefully. It wasn’t solar flare but it was
Tien’s move.
“TRI BEAM!”
I jumped out of the way as the beam hit the ground and I rolled across the ground and
looked at the large hole.
“Damn man that’s lethal.” I breathed.
I jumped up to my feet and I held my hand up. “Spinning axe!” I shouted and flung
the attack at Cell it was shaped just like an axe except made purely out of ki
energy.
Cell jumped back and he crossed his arms across his chest and took the impact of the
axe I held my hands high above my head pulling in more energy.
“Bubble wrap!”
Cell laughed and he flung and attack at the bubble bouncing it back at me. I leapt out
of the way as it collided with the cliff face.
The explosion shook the ground for just a moment.
‘C’mon Cell attack me use up your energy you creep.’ I thought.
Cell then charged at me and I hand sprung towards him and as he leapt forward to
punch I pushed myself up off the ground and flipped over him and jumped on his
back pushing him in to the ground and flipped over him. Cell spun round and I
cartwheeled back flipping round I grabbed his neck with my legs in a scissor lock and
flipped him over. I jumped back and Cell turned himself round in the air and he
landed on the ground like he handed even been thrown.
‘Bugger, he’s not wearing down.’ I thought worriedly. I knew it was me the
one that would be wearing down unless I called upon some of that goddess
energy.
Cell just smirked at me. “You’ve got a quiet a handful of moves there.”
I stood there and looked at Cell. “Perhaps.”
“But like Goku you will only last so long. This next level of super saiyan seems to be
draining your energy.” Cell remarked.
I blinked and looked at Cell. He smirked at me.
‘Damn I should of listened to Goku and remained super saiyan all the time.’ I
thought.
Cell began to laugh. “I know all about you and your witch like powers Leona. That’s
why I choose you I know that with a simple phrase you can call upon every single
God to aid you. This is why I choose you for that challenge. But then I also know that
it’s a fifty-fifty chance whether they’ll show up to help you or not. I hope you’ve done
all your predictions for now because I have one for you. I predict this match is going
to be the end unlike Goku I know you won’t turn your back on me.”
“You picked me because you wanted to challenge Gods?! What are you crazy their
power alone can destroy this entire universe.” I exclaimed.
“Now I see why she surpassed us all with hardly any training.” Vegeta
commented.
“She mentioned she had that power before though.” Piccolo added.
Cell looked up at them he then looked at me. “Call on that power now!”
I looked at Cell and arched an eyebrow. “Personal game Cell. You’re challenging
them for personal game. That’s a big no no.” I smirked.
He just smirked back. “Well that’s the way I work.”
I straightened up and I shook my head. “You don’t want to challenge me. You want to
challenge beyond me. Goku had the right choice for you but you just had to go over
your head.” I remarked and stood there.
Cell glared at me. “Don’t you dare turn your back on me. You do and you die.”
“I can’t call upon God’s for personal game Cell!” I snapped at him.
He grinned “But what if your friends up there were in a life threatening
situation?”
I looked up to the cliff face and Cell stood there.
‘Not the Cell jnrs not yet...’ I pleaded in my head. “Leave them out of this.
You and me Cell that’s what you want. That’s what you got. You leave your tricks out
of this and I’ll leave my magick out of it.”
“It’s no fun that way. I think I prefer my way. To the death.” he charged at me and I
spun round delivering a round house to his neck knocking him back I jumped up and
followed through with a hook kick and landed on the ground in a crouch as Cell stood
there and looked at me.
“Always with being fair. I swear your human half makes you weak. Why can’t you be
more like Vegeta.” He teased.
I charged at him and we exchanged in a swapping of fists as we phased in and out all
over the desert. Cell suddenly vanished leaving me on the ground looking for him. I
felt round for his power level to track him and finally I found him.
“Call upon your Gods Lee. I’m too good for you as you are.” Cell taunted.
I shot upwards and delivered an upper cut with was caught short by Cell’s hand and
he came back with an axe hammer in my mid back knocking me back towards the
ground. Ya see it on the tv show that move and it hurts. But I powered up and skidded
in the air stopping moments before hitting the ground. I looked up.
Cell was nowhere in sight and I looked round and up to the cliff even Goku was
looking for Cell. I stopped as a I suddenly sensed him behind the group of them.
“NO!” I powered up and flew up to the cliff and I shot down in a flying kick cutting
Cell short before he had a chance to hit Gohan. I think he sensed this was who Goku
wanted to replace him with.
Gohan looked at me and he blinked. Cell stood up from the ground where I’d knocked
him down. “I see even in this time your over protectiveness of Gohan runs
through.”
“Huh?” Yamcha looked at me confused.
Trunks looked at them. “In my time Gohan and Lee were the last ones to die by the
hands of the androids. They were actually kind of an item.”
Gohan looked at Trunks. “Me and Lee?” He looked at me.
Trunks nodded. “Yeah. When she came back from her time in fighting the androids it
was you who convinced her to continue to fight them. She had this plan in her head
that she could shut them down without fighting any more.”
Cell smiled. “And she found Dr. Gero’s lab too. She actually tried to change my
programming. Without destroying me. She knew that I would come here and she left
me alone.” He was enjoying telling me this. “So Leona the reason I lived. It is because
of you. So how do you feel now? Everything is your fault.”
Gohan glared at Cell. “She’s not the same person you saw Cell. So just leave that out
of this.” He remarked.
“Oh do I detect some affection there?” He smirked.
I gave Gohan a side long glance. He looked back at me and nodded.
Cell looked at Goku. “It was Gohan who you wanted to take your place isn’t it?”
Goku blinked. “Wait how did you know that?”
Cell laughed. “I have Leona’s cell’s in me too you know. I even know about your
hidden ability Gohan once released it could destroy me. And that’s the type of
challenge I’m saving for last. After I kill her your next.”
He flew upwards and phased out.
I stood there stunned. “That means he knows how it’s going to end. He’s going to do
everything in his power to change it.” I said and looked at the group of them.
“Is there anyway round this prediction?” Piccolo asked.
I nodded. “He only knows bits and odds cause if he knew ‘everything’ then
we’d all be dead by now.” I replied.
“So he’s limited on Lee’s powers. Any other powers of yours that he could have?”
Tien asked.
I shook my head. “I can’t think of any.”
“Oh Leona!!” Cell shouted and we looked round for him. “catch!”
I then saw it the large energy blast heading towards the group of us.
“It’s coming in to fast to divert it. Everybody MOVE!!!!!” Goku shouted.
“Bubble wrap!” I shouted and threw the bubble of energy up catching the blast in it
and we all jumped out of the way as the bubble and energy blast hit the ground. It
bounced there like a beach ball for a moment before settling down we looked
over.
Cell laughed and I looked up at him in the sky. “I knew you were going to do that.
You’re so predictable Leona. And thanks to your Cells I can predict your downfall to.
But you wanted to keep it fair so I will. I promise I’ll only use your own moves
against you.” He continued to laugh.
“Do you think you can beat him Lee?” Yamcha asked.
I chuckled. “Doubt it. Who knows what moves my future self had she was super
saiyan at twenty-one it took me three years longer.” I replied.
“But she never reached ascended or past it.” Trunks added.
I looked at him. “You’re kidding right?”
Trunks shook his head. “Neither, myself, you or Gohan reached past the super saiyan
level. With no Goku in our world my father felt he was the strongest in the universe.
So there was no single conception in his mind that there could be any higher levels of
super saiyan.” He explained.
I nodded. “Ah I get your point.” I took in a deep breath. “Well if I can get him to do
nothing but attack me hopefully it’ll wear his energy level down enough for Gohan to
take over.” I looked at him. “Think you can do that for us kid?” I asked.
He nodded. “Yeah.”
“Back to it then...” I powered up and flew upwards towards Cell.
