Mihoshi

OAV Mihoshi

Where to begin? In the OAV's, Mihoshi is a member of the Galaxy Police that, according to Kagato, was a *very* good officer, but latley her performance had fallen. It can be taken from the Mihoshi Special that the loss of her partner Kiyone may have had to do with Mihoshi's downfall in her performance record. The granddaughter of the GP Commisioner, her superior is under the strictest orders to make sure that she does not get hurt. Of course, with Mihoshi, this is nearly impossible. This is not to say she is stupid. Mihoshi is able to make the most detailed observations in her work and compile them into a working report. It is quite possible Mihoshi is a genius in this series, for geniuses usually are quite distracted when it comes to the material world. The theory has also been raised that she is a Megami of Luck, and everything falls into her lap like a ripe fruit. Note that Mihoshi is not human, for she has fangs and pointed ears (No, she is *NOT* a Vulcan! She is quite illogical!). The theory has been raised that Mihoshi is in fact related to Washu-chan, because the GP commisioner, Mihoshi's grandfather, is in fact Washu's baby that was taken from her so long ago. Note that this is just another theory, and it has *not* been *proven* that the GP Commisioner is in fact Washu's lost child. Anyway, Mihoshi falls down to Earth, and shows up in time for a battle with Ryoko's water demon. She is totally shocked by the fact that Ryoko and Ryo-ohki (Ryo-Oh-Ki) are, in fact, the henious space pirates feared across the galaxy. Mihoshi makes a brave effort to "arrest" Kagato when he shows up at the Masaki household, but, alas, to no avail. She is responsible for finding her way into the Souja's (Kagato's ship) parallel dimension and freeing Washu-chan from her imprisonment by Kagato. Lucky her.

Tenchi Universe Mihoshi

Tenchi Universe Mihoshi

In Tenchi Universe, Mihoshi is a Galaxy Police Officer who falls to Earth. The most noticeable difference is that Mihoshi's previously MIA partner, Kiyone, actually does appear. Unfortunatley, this causes Mihoshi to become a one-dimensional "foil" character, who is quite ditzy and, well, not so bright. Gone are the genius qualities, replaced by those of the steryotypical "dumb blonde". She does have her good moments, but those are heavily outweighed by the comic-relief role she plays in this series. If something goes wrong and results in hilarious catastrophe, then it is invariably Mihoshi's fault (as Kiyone will point out at the top of her lungs). Mihoshi becomes a crybaby and a totally incompetent GP officer, who drives Kiyone to the brink of insanity (and sometimes beyond, over the edge). Two phrases of advice: Stay Away! This *isn't* Mihoshi!

Shin Mihoshi

Shin Mihoshi

Not much to say. Basically, a replica of how she was in the Tenchi Universe series, except infinitley more worse. Just... don't belive everything you see and hear about Mihoshi in this series, for it ISN'T TRUE!
