Sound of Wave
Episode 4 begins at a high class party where important officials and military personnel gathered and celebrate the inauguration of someone as the Minister of State. A man who is introduced as Tana congratulating the new Minister of the State. We also learn that Tana is a representative of the Atreide Company. While they are chatting amiably, talking of future gains in the promotion, Kirika goes up to them and serves drinks.
The location of the party changed and we see a man relaxing with a smoke away from the party. As he leans against a pillar, he said to himself about the country's population becoming halve of what it is now. As he muttered to himself, Mirielle appears all of the sudden and warms up to the guy. Slowly, she reaches into the jacket pocket of the man and takes out his semi-automatic pistol. The man gasps and his cigarette drops to the ground and we hear a woman scream in the party.
Kirika stands apart from the people and a fork with blood appears in her hand. The new minister of state turns to look at Tana and see his friend falls over with a fork in the back of his neck.
[Title of the episode is shown]
Driving down the road next to a beautiful tropical beach, Mirielle tells of the Atreide Company's cover "International Security Service" but in actuality, it is a "coup d'etat coordinator." They specialize in getting rid of current government with insecure foundation by going to opposing faction and helping them with everything.
Arriving at their "base," a comfy looking villa by the beach, Kirika stares out into the ocean while Mirielle leans against the doorpost. I would guess this is in a moment's impulse, Mirielle asks Kirika if she brought her swimsuit =) Due to censors, I'd not be posting screenshots of them two changing into their swimsuits! ^_^
In the next scene, we see some people going into an office of a skyscraper. On the phone, the guy in the middle starts to talk to someone important that have a contract with them. We find out that their current location is Ulgia (I don't know where Ulgia is..., is it even real?). The man on other end of phone wants to cancel the contract with the them (Atreide Company) but given threats of releasing to the public about financial contribution, the man decides to think about it further. From the others in the room, we find out that the man's name is Canorat and that during the party, the two men that died by Noir is Tana and Foster. Thinking about Noir like bugs that is bothering their plan, the man in the chair decides that Noir is one bug that must be destroyed.
Sitting on the beach, unknowing that someone just declared war against them, Mirielle is clad in a really sexy red bikini while Kirika is sitting down with a large straw hat and a conservative sleeveless dress. While on the beach, Mirielle continues with the mission objectives. Three more targets are named, Hammond the president, Bark and Wellman the subordinates. Then Mirielle commented on how quiet and beautiful the sea is... while in Kirika's mind, a flashback of the time she was chased through the forest is played. Three men chased her and after going down a slope of slippery grass, Kirika killed all three when one of the men let down his guard. She felt no particular sadness.
At an airport, Hammond is waiting for someone to arrive while Noir watches him from a little sit down table. Kirika made mentions of hidden bodyguards and Mirielle replies back with "4?" and Kirika corrected her with 6. Soon, the person Hammond is waiting for shows up, and it's a young girl of around Kirika's age. She calls out 'Papa' happily but received a slap from Hammond instead. Mirielle is surprised while Kirika watches on without any emotion.
In a hotel room where Hammond's daughter is staying at, the father and daughter have a discussion of why she is there. He came to Ulgia on business and sternly, he tells her that if she had something to tell him, she could've told him in New York. She replies back that it is all the same, wherever her father is. That she could never see him... (Wonders which is worse... to not know who father is, or a father that doesn't want to see you) He then tells her to take the flight back tomorrow and when she asks if she could stay the day after tomorrow, a firm reply of "No" came. When asked if Hammond remembers about day after tomorrow, he didn't... and she said, day after tomorrow is her birthday. Still, he insist that she goes home tomorrow.
Back in Noir's villa, Mirielle tells Kirika about Hammond's daughter. We find out that Rosaly is 15 and the daughter between the couple. She resides in New York with her mother Julia. Mirielle comments on how much trouble it's going to be for the president with him trying to incite revolt and having to deal with his daughter. At night, while Mirielle sleeps, Kirika sits in front of Mirielle's computer. On the screen are information about Rosaly and Kirika is looking even sadder than usual. Softly, she said, "school" and flashback of when she woke up in her room the first time and finding her student ID is remembered. Comparing her student ID photo with the picture on the screen of Rosaly, Kirika looks forlorn.
[Commercial break! Dinner break!]
Returning from commercial, we are now at Rosaly's room where she sleeps. A click on the door and we see Hammond looking in at his daughter. As he turns to go, Rosaly said softly that she would go back to New York today and that momma is probably worried about her too. Hammond replies back that he already called her mother and told her that she'd be returning next week. He then closes the door behind him and Rosaly sits up straight on the bed, unbelieving at the news she just heard! She just looked so ... kawaii!!
In the metropolitan area of Ulgia, Bark (or Wellman?) is telling Hammond that they'd find the ones that did it, and make them pay. As they ride along in the car, all of the sudden, Hammond calls out for the driver to stop the car.
Back in the office where Hammond worked, he reaches into his pocket and got out a small gift box, meant for his daughter's birthday. He laid the box down by the picture of his wife and daughter and smiled. (He isn't so bad afterall ^_^) Meawhile, two men walks rapidly toward his office and Bark and Wellmen went in after Hammond said the door is open. The two lackeys showed Hammond a strange letter they got from someone and inside is a map of Ulgia. On the map, the name Noir is marked locating them. As they are showing the map, the two explained what Noir is. That they are assassin and of the highest ranking. After moments of deliberation, Hammond decided for a nearby Ulgian troops to go there immediately and wipe them out.
The scene switched to that of troops on jeeps, rushing toward where noir is. Soon the troops are deployed and Mirielle with Kirika are stuck inside with no where to go. Asking how they know where they are, Kirika looked away sadly and Mirielle decides its "them" again. The true enemies that are testing them for unknown purposes.
Slowly, Kirika opens the door in her summer hat and walks out into the porch and facing the troops. When she looked up, the army men were surprised at her age. After confirming that she is carrying no weapon and that no one is inside, the leader started to question Kirika about who she is, what she is doing there, where her things are.. so on. In moments, he was gunned down, and several others starts to go down as well. Mirielle is discovered on the roof and she was firing down at them with deadly accuracy. Meanwhile, Kirika just stood there as gunfire rain down upon her. She then picked up a rifle dropped by one of the troop and begin to fire as well. The troops soon call for retreat but all died shortly.
Noir got into the car and sped toward their destination in town. To finish their job. The mysterious field of grapes shown once more and the main antagonist was playing a match of chess with herself.
Back at Hammond's office, he hears from the two lackey that Noir survives and the scouting troop was annihilated without waiting for the main troop. Hammond tells them to go to the site of defeat and give him a comprehensive report there. As they are leaving, Hammond opens his drawer with a gun inside. Leaning back to relax, he gazes at the picture of his wife and daughter. (Sometimes, a man don't know how he got into the position he is in without serious consideration...)
In the restroom, Bark and Wellman discusses about why they are being attacked. And as they enter the sub-garage to their cars, we see that Mirielle is already there, waiting for them. As they got into their cars and opened the headlight, she was standing there, with her eyes closed. Then draws her gun and pointed at them. Two silenced shots fired, groans of death heard.
Back up at the office, knocks on the door is heard, and Hammond said as he did before "It's open." Kirika is the one that entered the door, and pointed her gun at Hammond. Gasping in surprise, but realizing his fate is already sealed, he looked down at the picture of his wife happily holding onto Rosaly. Then looking back up at Kirika, the two exchanged looks and finally, closing his eyes and resigning to his death.
A shot is fired, and he slumps over knocking over the picture frame. It shattered while the gift box bounced beside it... coming undone.

Waiting outside the building was Mirielle, Kirika just walked past her without a word. Deep in reflection, Kirika must still wonder.. why doesn't she feel sadness? Flicking her hair, Mirielle walked away in the other direction.
While still deep in thought and walking down the street of Ulgia slowly, Kirika suddenly notices Rosaly walking in the direction of her father's building. Still staring down at the ground as they got closer to one another, Rosaly accidentally dropped an orange and landed close to Kirika's feet. Looking into one another's eyes, Rosaly smiled at Kirika. Kirika then bents down and picks up the orange, dropping it into Rosaly's bag and saying "here." Rosaly beamed at Kirika but Kirika just continued walking past her as if nothing happened. Staring at Kirika's back and frowning softly, Rosaly soon started walking then running happily toward his father's office.
