The front page of the official Japanese Bio-Booster Armor Guyver website states that a major announcement related to Guyver will be made at the Tokyo Anime Fair, occurring March 31st to April 3rd.

Online reports have confirmed that the Rozen Maiden TV series is to be continued for a second season.



3/15/05 According to Moon Phase, the Shin Seiki Zoids Genesis anime TV series will premier on TV Tokyo on April 10th.

JoyRide Entertainment is going to produce and release a Fullmetal Alchemist Trading Card Game. The TCG is schedule to be released in August, 2005.




3/14/05 The May issue of Japan's Animage magazine includes a bonus DVD containing a promo clip for the full CG animated "TANK S.W.A.T. 01," created by Urda creator Romanov Higa and based on Masamune Shirow's Tank Police Dominion manga series.

"Doraemon Plus" the first new Doraemon manga since Fujiko F. Fujio's death 9 year ago, will go on sale March 25th.




3/12/05 The official Japanese D.C. ~Da Capo~ website has announced that "D.C.S.S ~ Da Capo Second Season" will air on Japanese television this summer.


3/9/05 Mecha & Anime HQ has published an exclusive interview with Bandai Entertainment Marketing Manager Jerry Chu in which, among other things, Chu confirms the forthcoming release of the Gundam Seed Special Edition compilation specials (to be released in America as "Gundam Seed movies"), the Gundam Seed epilogue OAV, and the follow-up television series Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny. He also suggests that in the coming years, less anime will be brought over to America and more will be tailored specifically for American audiences.

Geneon has officially announced its acquisition of North American distribution rights to the Sokyuu no Fafner anime TV series and TV series soundtrack. They will be released in July.

Nausicaa.net has reported that Disney will give the English dub of Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind a limited American theatrical release this summer.

According to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine, Square Enix is producing another installement of its Fullmetal Alchemist game series.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Geneon has licensed the North American merchandising, television and home video rights to the Viewtiful Joe anime TV series.

As of March 28th, Turner Broadcasting will formally split The Cartoon Network's Adult Swim program into a separate cable television network for ratings reporting purposes. As a separate entity, Adult Swim will be a formidable network, with #1 ratings in its time period on basic cable among adults age 18-34, and an average of 11 of the top 50 ad-supported cable programs among adults age 18-34. However, apparently Adult Swim's content and broadcast schedule will not change from its present condition.

Animate.tv has revealed that Production IG and FLCL & Dead Leaves director Hiroyuki Imaishi are at work on an anime film titled "OVAL X OVER." The film is based on Japanese Indy car racing.

ADV Films announced at this past weekend's Anime Overdose that they have acquired the series Yugo the Negotiator.
