Blue Submarine No. 6 Volume 1 Directed by: Mahiro Maeda The world's oceans have risen and mankind faces off against those who dwell under the sea. There are creatures, apparently created by Zorndyke, that wage war on the humans. Blue Submarine No. 6 is a powerful submarine made to combat these creatures. Mayumi Kina, a young female submariner, is sent to get Hayami to rejoin Blue Submarine. At first he refuses, but after an attack he gets involved. The DVD features contain only one episode and a few trailers. Final Verdict: There is a large amount of CGI mixed in with the traditional anime style. The first DVD only contains one episode and although it shows some promise, would make it considered a rip off for almost any series. |
