Princess Mononoke Directed by: Hayao Miyazaki Ashitaka is inflicted with a deadly curse after battling a demon and sets out to the western forests in search of a cure to save his life. He becomes entangled in the middle of a bitter ongoing battle between a group of humans destroying the forest to mine iron and the forest's animal gods. A young woman known as Princess Mononoke whom the wolf gods raised also fights alongside her animal brethren. The DVD features the theatrical trailer, a featurette, and a French language track. It is in 5.1 surround sound and wide-screen for enhanced televisions. Final Verdict: I found this to be a pretty good movie, at least worth a rent. |
