Real Bout High School Volumes 1-3

The series follows Ryoko Mitsurugi a high school student. The high school has K-fights (street fights) sponsored by the school and a champion. The champion can be challenged at any time. Ryoko is the current K-fight champion. Later she is somehow transported somewhere else where she is called Demon Lord of Yenen and is forced to fight monsters. Kusanagi, the former champion, wants to reclaim his title of champion. He is later transported with Ryoko where they fight another monster confirming it isn't just a dream. They encounter strangers who know about them and wish to fight them and take on more monsters. Evil forces are at work in the other world where Ryoko is transported.
The first DVD features contain the first four episodes, Japanese TV ads, dubbing outtakes, and previews. It has something called Special End Corner for each episode, which has interviews and behind the scenes things with the cast. The second DVD has the next three episodes with a Special End Corner for each corresponding episode. It has an interview with Japanese voice actress Ikue Kimura, outtakes, a clean opening, a line art gallery, and previews. The third DVD has the next three episodes and corresponding Special End Corners. It also has the second part of the interview with Ikue Kimura. In addition, there is another line art gallery, outtakes, and previews.
Final Verdict: Real Bout High School is fairly good. It has some good comedic scenes and fighting scenes as the different fighters battle. There is a fair amount of fan service and part of the story focuses on Ryoko's feelings for someone.
