Ruin Explorers Directed by: Takeshi Mori In a world that used to have great civilizations, with great magic powers, war broke out destroying these civilizations. People search to reclaim the magical powers lost and they are called ruin explorers. Ruin Explorers follows the journey of several different characters looking for items to find the ultimate power. This includes Fam, a Wiccan (cat person); Ihrie, a cursed fighter with magic; Rasha, a sorceress; Migel, a master swordsman; Lyle, a prince of a fallen kingdom; Galuff, a merchant and his dog Gill. They encounter the evil Rugudorall who destroyed Lyle's kingdom and search for the three pieces to gain the Ultimate Power. The DVD contains the four episodes, trailers, a web link, and a scrapbook of images from the show. Final Verdict: Ruin Explorers is a well-rounded show. It has some fairly funny parts and pretty good battle scenes. Although nothing really sticks out as outstanding many things combine to make a pretty good watch. Also, whether for good or bad, the whole four episode series is on one disc. |
