Sorcerer on the Rocks
Directed by: Kazuhiro Ozawa
Taking place in a world of sorcery and magic, taking place on the continent of Spooner, the show follows Shibas Scotch. Shibas Scotch is an expensive bounty hunter for hire and a powerful sorcerer. Fizz comes along because she believes though he is wretched he has a good heart and soul. Kiss also comes along and has the ability to transform into a wolf. Genmi is a swordsman who seemingly loves Shibas, who profusely rejects him. Shibas is hired to slay a monster, but others have plans for him.
The DVD features contain the two episodes, previews, and a game. In the game you 'hunt' for a beast by choosing from one of three arrows in a 'maze.'
Final Verdict: Only two episodes, Sorcerer on the Rocks is a decent series. There are some funny comedic parts and some nicely done action sequences. Although there is some nudity, it also is the first anime I've seen to beep out a word. It's on both English and Japanese audios, and I don't think ADV did it because it is already suggested 17+.
