Spirited Away

Directed by: Hayao Miyazaki

A young girl is thrust into a strange world of spirits and forced to work at a bathhouse to bide time until she can figure out a way to rescue her parents. She is helped by various sorts of people along the way and draws upon herself to continue forward.

The two disc DVD has a short feature on the art of Spirited Away, an introduction by John Lasseter, original Japanese trailers, a Nippon Television special, a select storyboard to scene comparison, and a behind the microphone short feature.

Final Verdict: Spirited Away creates a massive world through Miyazaki, which is no surprise. Spirited Away has a good story and great characters that any age group can enjoy seeing in action. The movie is enjoyable and entertaining, while the main character is somewhat irritating at first, she evolves as she is put in different situations.
