Website in Review

In honor of sixth months of operation the following is a review of the website Pen Pen’s Evangelion by Pen Pen’s Evangelion:

After clicking on a fair entrance page, you see the main image. Obviously its Valentines Day themed with a picture of Asuka dreaming about Pen Pen in a loving manner that just makes the viewer uncomfortable. The website contains several sections, including a fair amount of images and sounds. The fan art section only has one lonely image made by “Hitler.” For some reason the CD music is in a windows application format rather than mp3s, which is inconvenient. With no current analysis and profiles admittedly taken from the DVDs the website has awhile to go. The diamond in the rough, so to speak is a section called A Pen Pen for your Thoughts, also known as Pen Penny. With random thoughts, theories, and rants it brings the site to a higher level than otherwise. The site is also filled with what is hoped to be done though progress seems to progress slowly. Basically this website leaves you feeling somewhat uncomfortable and queasy. It even reviews itself in a Pen Penny! Imagine! It is also one of the worst yet, and it is supposed to be in honor of sixth months of being up. To it’s credit it picks up slightly in the end after a large amount of senseless garbage. -2/13/02
