Republican Rap of Disappointment

(A Somewhat Belated Posting)

The Dems are at it again
with a two-sided win
They want all of our troops to give up and get out
Generals say they don't know what they're talking about
They're getting all the committee chairs
Reason going to Washington leads to despair
War is too important to be left to politicians
But that won't matter when they'll be passing resolutions
Riding in wearing coats of the moderate
Somehow in that coat Pelosi doesn't fit
They have no plans or intentions to repair
Just point at the past and give tax-raising glares
Initial cheers of bipartisan coopeartion
Plans show that train's left the station
Which was probably destroyed by terrorists
Since the Dems are a bunch of wimpy pacifists
Some are viewing the win as a mandate
Which will seal their election fate
I'll only have to wait
For the Republican win in '08
Gotta make a bribe and Murth's a-waitin
Make it fast before there's a rise in inflation
