So what can I say
about myself? Well, I'm a girl (or woman ^_^X) who'd rather be called
Sakura Seta than my real name. No, I didn't name myself after Sakura
Kinomoto: I chose the name Sakura because I love cherry blossoms. They're
really pretty aren't they? And of course, Seta is actually the family name
of my all time favorite anime guy, Soujiro
Seta of Rurouni Kenshin. You may also call me Kaoru Himura. ^_^X
I'm really, really into anime that I've been a fan
for already ten years. Although I love Card Captor Sakura to bits, my favorite anime has
always been, and will always be Rurouni Kenshin. I'm still in school and
I'm really, really hoping I could graduate next school year so that I can get a
job and buy all the doujinshi my heart desires. Lovelife? I'm one of
those jaded women who no longer believes in happy ever after. I've
resigned myself to the fact that I'll probably never find my own Kenshin Himura
or Syaoran Li. Most of the guys I've been acquainted with have been such
disappointments that I find myself disillusioned. Oh well... Maybe that's
the reason why I like watching fluffy, romantic anime. Maybe I want to
escape from the reality that love is well... elusive. I doubt if I can
find it in real life. Anyway, I'm seeing
someone right now. It's nothing serious (since I just said I don't believe
in living happily ever after, at least for me) but I enjoy his company and
that's enough for me. He doesn't have a clue about my anime addiction. ^_^X Oh well,
it's not like I'm planning to spend the rest of my life with him so I don't
think I'll let him know about it. He wouldn't understand anyway.
I guess that's
all I have to say about jaded little me. ^_^X
By the way, the
other anime that I like are Gatekeepers, Akazukin Chacha (I can't make up my
mind regarding who's cuter: Is it Sakura or Chacha?), Recca no Honou, Yuyu
Hakusho, Wedding Peach, Rayearth, Fushigi Yuugi (although I only like the first
and last few episodes), and Kimagure Orange Road. I used to watch Sailor
Moon faithfully until I got tired of the same old story: villain causes trouble,
the Sailor Soldiers come to the rescue, but in the end, Sailor Moon saves all
their asses. Geez, it's always Sailor Moon in the spotlight!!!
