Mokuren is one of seven scientists. She lives on the moon, and watches over the earth. She is beautiful, and many men love her. Shukaido and Jinpachi love her, but the only one for her is Shion.
She can talk to plants and animals. She understands that if they suicide, they won't be reborn, and prevents everyone from taking their lives. It is because of her that Rin is saved when he falls off the balcony, because, somehow, she goes to the future right before she dies. She tells Shion about it, but he does not understand. Mokuren loves the earth, and wants more than anything to go tho it, and be enfolded by it's beauty.
