Cardcaptor Sakura is about a 10-yr-old girl named Sakura, in 4th grade, who one day accidently stumbles upon a magic book in her fathers library. When she opens the book, she discovers it is full of cards named "Clow Cards". Sakura reads out the name of the first card and accidently releases it's power - The Windy.

This causes the cards to scatter, much to the dismay of the guardian beast of the Clow Book,Kerberos. He appoints Sakura as the chosen Cardcaptor, and her misson is to find and capture the cards once more.
