"talking" **thoughts** <> _emphasis_ ////memories//// ################################################################## Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. To a certain odango-haired high schooler, the minutes could not move any more slower than they were at the moment. She was slumped down on her waiting desperatly for the day to end. She had many more interesting things to do rather than spend her time listening to Takashi-sensei drone on and on about the history of ancient Japan. Suddenly, ice cream, doughnuts, chocolate, and every junkfood imaginable appeared magically before her bleary eyes. She smiled, and reached out to grab one. Her hands grasped a dumpling, which was shoved rapidly in her mouth, and she then proceeded to grab everything she could and eat it, while laughing at the fact that she did not have to share this treat with any of her friends or family, espcially Shingo. It was all hers, all hers!! In the real world, the classmates who occupied the desks near Usagi began to feel the growing edges of fear as her hands flailed around, threatening to knock off an innocent student's head. Takashi-sensei didn't notice as he began to explain about the ancient customs. The students grew huge sweatdrops as Usagi began to snicker in her sleep. And as her face took on a possesive and malicious quality, they carefully edged their desks away from her, beads of sweat glistening on their forheads. Takashi-sensei still did not look up from his texts. Finally, when the hands became too fast for anyone to follow, a student, fearing for his head and ducking low, raised his hand. "Takashi-sensei?" he called. Takashi-sensei slowly looked up, a mask of annoyance on his face. He a circle of desks, all edging away from something, and in the middle of it, was a mass of peach, yellow, blue, red, and white. He stalked slowly over to the blur, and when he could finally make out the trouble-making student, the bell rang. Whoosh!!!!! Takashi-sensei barely had time to brace himself as a gust of strong wind blew him senseless. When he was able to look up, he saw that the classroom was now totally void of any students. He was the only on in the room, accompanied only by the various pieces of trash that were left behind. ***** Ryuujin sighed as he walked slowly home from school. Fortunately, Akane had gone shopping with Yuka and Sayuri. School had been very boring for him, having regained all fo his vast knowledge that he had gathered over the many centuries of his past life. He turned when he reached the all too familiar canal, heading for the Tendo dojo automatically. <> he thought to his friends, a dreamy smile coming onto his face at the thought of his love. He quickly sobered, remembering Ranma's life, and wary of both enemies and fiancees alike. <> <> asked Thunder. <> <> Ryuujin answered. <> <> hinted Fire. <> he sighed again. <> <> asked Fog, skeptical. <> Ryuujin flipped through Ranma's memories and then consented, <> ***** The wind whistled through the trees in the park, bending most saplings to the ground, only to have them spring back up, none for wear. Suddenly, four figures appeared on one of the oak trees. One of them, the tallest one who held a staff, stood on a branch while leaning against another. The shortest one was sitting on the branch the tallest one was standing on. The middle one was sitting next to her. The one with the shortest hair was leaning against the trunk of the tree. They patiently stared at a spot in the middle of the dark clearing they faced. Suddenly, a shadow moved, and all four tensed. The shortest one's hand strayed near her left wrist. Out of the shadows the trees made from the moonlight, materialized a large, bulky figure. It looked around, and seeing nobody, roared it's anger to the heavens. The shortest's hand pushed some button on her wrist and then she stood up with the middle one. The four of them leapt into the clearing without any hesitation. The clouds passed by the moon, obscuring their features from the figure. "Whooo Arrrrre yyyyou?" it hissed in a distorted voice. The clouds moved apart, showing the silhouetts of the four Outer Senshi. "Sennnnnnssssssshi!!!!" the creature shrieked madly. "Mussssst desssssstrrrrroyyyy!!!!!!!!" It then charged into the light. Sailor Saturn could not help but recoil in disgust as she and the other made out it's features. It was entirely black, made of some sort of muk. Black fog seemed to surround the body, always moving, not touching the slimy body's surface, but no more than a milimeter away at all times. It's eyes were merely two yellow dots cutting through an unyeilding shield of mist. Half of it's lips were sewn together in spots, while the other half foamed at the mouth. Needless to say, the Senshi now knew exactly why the creature spoke in the hissy blather. "What are you?" demanded Sailor Uranus, recovering from her own shock. "I haaaaaaaave nnnnnnno nnnnnammmme," replied the creature. "My Mmmmmissssstresssss calllllllllessssssssss mmmmmme ssssssssssllllllllllaaaaaaave." And then, it attacked! ############################################################################# To be continued in Part 5. ~~~~~Jade Hunter~~~~~
