Character Bios

       Hitomi Kanzaki

Voice actor: Sakamoto Maaya

    Hitomi, an ordinary Japanese student.  In the beginning, we see that she has a major crush on the captain of the boy's track team.  It seems that he may have the same feelings for her.  Hitomi has a talent for Tarot, an is constantly asked to do readings for her classmates.  Hitomi is the heroine of the story.

Van Fanel

Voice actor: Seki Tomokazu

   Van is the son of Goau and Varie Fanel.  He is left to inherit the Kingdom of Fanellia, but he was first to bring back a Dragu-energist. 

Allen Schezar

Voice actor: Miki Shin'ichirou

   Allen is the commander of the Empire of Astoria.  When Hitomi first sees Allen, she mistakes him for Amano, her crush.  He is a very caring man, who does his best in what he does.  He is very good when it comes to sword fighting.  He seems to have feelings for Hitomi in the beginning.  Of course, later on after we meet Princess Millerna, we see that they have something going on.

Millerna

Voice actor: Iizuka Mayami

    The Princess of Astoria, who has an interest in Allen.  Her father pressures her to marry someone else, but her heart stays with Allen.  She knows about medicine, which comes in handy through out the story.  In the beginning, she may seem a bit snotty, but soon she shows that she is a very caring person. 

Merle

Voice actor: Ootani Ikue

   This cutie is very fond and protective of Van.  They seem to have known each other since childhood.  Merle can get a bit jealous when she sees Van and Hitomi together.  Merle is a very cute and caring cat-girl.
