Rurouni Kenshin
In the 11th year of Meiji, a swordsman, who calls himself Rurouni (Wandering Samurai), appears in Downtown Japan. He has a very bloody past, which he hides behind that sweet smile of his. He wonders from the Shogunate Era to the Meiji Era, trying to put his past behind. He carries around a reverse-sided blade, which he uses to defend himself. He does not kill his opponents. Through his wonderings, he meets Kamiya Kaoru, and stays with her. Pasts are brought up, and must be delt with.
