Character Bios

Vash the Stampede

    Vash gets the nickname "Stampede" because it seems that everywhere he goes, destruction follows.  Countless cities and towns have been destroyed, and Vash is always blamed.  It is not really his fault though! He is constantly being tracked down by bounty hunters because he has $$60,000,000,000 reward on his head.  The bounty hunters are the ones that practically destroy the towns while chasing after Vash.  Vash is really a caring and sincere person.  He hates to see blood, especially if it is someone elses.  He hates killing and always tries to keep it from happening.  When he is seen first, he is thought to be an idiot with a large gun.  He loves to eat donuts and can be a real klutz.

Nicholas D. Wolfwood 

    Vash finds Nicholas in the middle of the desert dehydrated.  Nicholas is a traveling priest who carries around a huge cross.  We later find out that the cross is equipped with tons of guns, and is a huge gun itself.  He is fond of children and people in need.  He is a very good gunman, even though he insists that he is a very Holy man. ^_^ He travels around with Vash, Meryl, and Milly. He also seems to have a "thing" for Milly. *hehe*

Meryl Srtyfe

    Meryl is a Disaster Investigator.  She and her partner Milly were sent to check of the scenes of Vash the Stampede's crimes.  Their job is to keep a close eye on Vash and make sure he doesn't cause any trouble.  The reason that they were sent to do this job, was because the insurance company is losing money from all the damage Vash is supposedly doing.  Meryl is very straight about her job.  She always wants to get things done correctly and efficiently. When things don't go as she planned, she blames Vash.  Like everyone else, it took her awhile to believe that Vash was really *the* Vash the Stampede.

Milly Thompson

    Milly, Meryl's partner, is the youngest of 10 children.  She is a kind and patient person, though she isn't very bright.  She acts very childlike.  In the beginning she seems to be simple-minded, but she is smarter than she looks.  She cares about others feelings, and would make sacrifices for others.  She carries around a huge gun, which she knows how to use. ^_^
