Float Bridge of Love
The hunters assignment is to not only defeat the sorcerer who has been kidnapping young women, but to destroy the gameru that he has been raising. their guide is a young girl named Lila whose sister is one of the captives. Only Lila is in love with the sorcerer-enough to kill her own sister. The hunters have to stop Lila from helping the sorcerer.

My take: I like this episode because it shows how close all of the siblings (Tira and Chocolate, Carrot and Marron) are too each other and how they would do anything for each other. It has some funny parts and some really good lines that can be found on the Great Lines page. This is definitely one of my favorite episodes.

Red Flower of Life
A sorceress in town has banished all of the pretty girls. she has also been growing the flowers of Mesotamia to make herself the perfect man from extracting favorable qualities from Carrot, Marron, and Gateau. The boys are out and so Tira must go to the sorceress and whip her into submission.

My take: This is an all right episode. It's interesting to see what could possibly come out of merging Carrot, Gateau, and Marron. Tira also kicks a lot of ass in this one. Again, there are some really good lines.

Unwritten Laws of Light and Dark
Carrot goes to the mansion of a very beautiful lady who seems very interested in him. little does he know that she wants to turn his cute face into a statue for her collection. The servant-also a sorcerer-gives the hunters a taste of his marrionette string. He must really be a puppet to his mistress. (ouch-bad pun.)

My take: I liked this episode cuz you get to see Carrot transform for the first time. The playboy bunny girl is not the most interesting of the sorcerers, but marrionette guy distracts Gateau and Marron awhile.

Fireworks Competition of Love
Carrot makes a promise to the pretty Bomber to watch the fireworks with her. This does not make Tira and Chocolate happy, and they try to keep him away from the fireworks. No evil monsters or sorcerers in this show.

My take: This show isn't one of the best. It's all right, but not anything special.

Dreamy Girl at Lakeside
Every 100 years the lake comes alive and judges the human race. Unforunately, the lake has come across Carrot, and is judging him to see if he has any evil in his heart. If he doesn't? It doesn't matter. The lake swallows the person who has been judged. Well, we know Carrot stays alive for the next episode, so how does get keep from being swallowed by the lake?

My take: I liked this episode cuz it's the first show where Carrot doesn't act like a complete jerk. It's actually really sweet.

The Heresy of Love is Crystal
The sorcerer hunters are sent to the town where magic is turning people to crystal. While there, Marron meets a young man looking for his sister. Later they meet a young girl named Lin. Could the sorcerer be Lin's brother? Marron gives him a choice. Give up the magic or die.

My take: I really like this one. Marron is my favorite character and in this show he kicks ass. This episode shows how devoted he is to his brother and how when he is protecting his brother he seems to turn into an entirely different person.

Love, As it Drifts
Virgins are being sacrificed to be the bride of a River rock savior. although, the sorcerer hunters don't like it, there is no sorcerer involved so they cannot interfere. Carrot falls for the statue of the intended bride-to-be, and goes looking for her. Unfortunately for Carrot, she has another love.

My take: There is no fighting or sorcerer's in this one, but the ending theme song is played in whole in the middle of the episode-which is really cool.

The Forbidden Fire
Sir Lionea seems like a sorcerer who wants to help the villagers protect their children from the evil spirits in the ruins on the edge of town. The sorcerer Hunters-minus Carrot- join his crusade trying to find out what he is really up to. So what is he up to? He's turning the villagers into children so he can torture them. Carot must save them all.

My take: I liked seeing what the hunters were like as kids. Chocolate and Tira were really whiny. even though Carrot doesn't get turned into a kid, he is the biggest kid of them all!!

Labyrinth Opera House
An anonymous client wants the Sorcerer Hunters to arrange a sorcerer's death. The sorcerer, however, is good to the townspeople and has done no harm to them. It is rumored, though, that he murdered Gateau's first partner, Opera. Well did he? Well, duh. No mystery there. (I'm the world's worst spoiler.)

My take: I don't like this episode as much. I think it is b-cuz it centers around Gateau, and Gateau is not one of my favorite characters. It doesn't have any great lines in it either. For once, Carrot actually looks like he is being nice to Chocolate. That is enough reason to watch it right there.

To Love a Vagabond
The Sorcerer Hunters must investigate a murder ring surrounding a casino. While there they do some gambling themselves. Tira, Chocolate, and Marron win big, but Carrot is so far in debt he gets thrown in a cage and sealed inside a monster. The sorcerer unleashes Carrot on Tira, Chocolate, and Marron in a roman Colloseum-like show. So what's Gateau doing? Messing around with the pretty sorceress.

My take: Gateau is just too much of a Sorcerer Hunter to get the girl. The fight in the colloseum was pretty cool. Too bad Marron didn't actually do anything. It has some great lines, but wasn't the most exciting show I had ever seen. Still, it was cool to see them gamble. Tira really gets into it. "Spin it again. Let it ride."

Forbidden Fruit
Two brothers have lost their parents and one would do anything to get them back-even turn to the forbidden magic. The sorcerer hunters don't do much in this episode except for stand by and let things take care of themselves.

My take: The nurse's name is Sandwich which had me laughing pretty hard. Marron can tell when soemone is going to die, which impresses the hell out of me.  No cool tranformations, and it really isn't all that funny.

Fossiled Warrior
The Chronodragon, after a fifty year nap, is finally ready to wake up and devour the entire continent. of course, the sorcerer hunters have to make sure it stays asleep. An old man has another idea. He knows how to kill the Chronodragon. So why is this a bad idea? Cuz the whole village will die!!

My take: Carrot and the old man bond. Zaha Torte makes a cameo appearance. A good show.
